Hi All,

Just to share my interview experience today.

It went almost smoothly, only that the visa wasnt issued because they need updated documents as follows:

- Philippine police clearance (NBI) issued August 2013

- Singapore police clearance issued August 2013

- Certificate of No Marriage issued July 2013

- My Fiance's Divorce Decree must be court certified.

I asked the consul if the visa is approved or not even if it is not issued today. He only said that once they got all those documents then they will continue the process and usually only takes 2 weeks or so. But i have my passport with me.

The form handed over to me says Refusal worksheet, though the content never said denied. It says "unable to issue a visa"....

Before i can ask anything the consul say it is just a default form they have but theres instructions whats needs to be done. And the case is basically under Administrative Processing.

Its sad.

But whats more depressing is to read blogs and knowing some experiences shows it takes them months to get over with this kind of hassle.

Very very sad today :'(

I hope you all learned something from my experience. :(

Sorry to hear about your experience. You haven't been denied, but you have some work to do. You probably learned that police clearance certificates are only good for six months. Just make sure you use a good service like FedEx or DHL, overnight mail with tracking to get another police clearance and divorce decrees; unless you're able to go there in person.

Wish you good luck. Remember, this is just a pause. You will be approved once you produce the paperwork they've requested.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Ya for the NBI and CENOMAR embassy doesn't want them to be over 6 months old.

What did your fiance sent to USCIS regarding the divorce decree, they want to see a certified copy as well.

They are both almost a year old? Embassy will want new ones is my bet, like said the embassy tends to want them to be under 6 months.

Pop over to the Philippines forum being you are processing through Manila.

Yes like both, 19 days and it will already 6 months after interview. That should be good? Or embassy would ask me to pass new ones? My status is already on AP. Will the embassy require me to send new?

Status is AP (?), so you completed your interview already? Were you given a 221g or told you needed new documents? If not then all is fine... just be patient.

No I wasn't given any forms. Yes I already did interview. I worry if embassy contact me one day and ask me to pass the updated CENOMAR and Nbi. My Status was "ready" after interview. 2 days exactly and now it's on AP. Thank you Hank. So you think it's ok ?

After the interview all applications are reviewed by another CO, so status will go to AP during this time, if there are no issues it may next go to ready then to issued.

No forms were asked for then you should be fine... just be patient a little longer.
