Just got the notification from DHL that our envelope was delivered at Frankfurt :-)

Will keep you all posted on how long everything will take.

Hi again,

yesterday, Saturday 8 march we received the letter from USCIS that they received our package, and the receipt for payment. Just a little info on our situation:

My husband is retired military and we have lived here for a few years already, we have 2 sons but only got married a few months ago, inorder to start this process so we can move stateside this year.

I'm a dutch national, Living in Germany, and I haved lived in some other countries aswell so will have to get some police reports.

My 15 year old son from a previous marriage may not be able to join us immediately as his father does not want to give permission, we are still working this issue. Any one has experience with concurrent filing of the I-130 and I-485 ?

Hello again,

Last week Saturday, 22 march we received a letter from USCIS for RFE, we forgot some papers, divorce decree from a previous marriage. So Monday we sent it of by registered mail.

According to the website from DHL it hadn't been delivered yet, and according to the postoffice they were unable to deliver the letter.

I found that hard to believe so today I sent an email to USCIS in Frankfurt and within 2 hours they replied, told me they got the papers, and that they APPROVED our petition yesterday!!!!

and that we will soon be contacted by the VISA department.

For sure this made our weekend, I know DCF is a 'fast track', but did not hear to expect this yet.
