Hey guys i'm new to the forum.

We had our interview in August 21st 2013 wich was so so,that day the lady who interviewed us gave us a letter that they need further review and a decision will be made after 90 days, however we have not heard anything just an SR on December said that our case is pending adjudication.

since august i've been checking the uscis case status almost every day and until a few days earlier it was stuck to "testing and interview"

today i was just bored and i thought i'd check out the website(it was part of my routine checking everyday lol) and i got goosebumps when i saw

this On March 3, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

i have not received any email nor notice, nothing.it jumped from testing and interview all the way to card production

the only steps we took all these months since our interview was to file an SR and schedule an infopass for march 17

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?

since august i have applied to college, filled taxes(1st time),opened bank account(all with my EAD)

IS IT A YES OR NO? IM CONFUSED AND EXCITED AT THE SAME TIME

What steps should i take after getting the greencard

what's the to do list?

Thank you.

and good luck everyone!

Sounds like they just finished whatever they still needed to process and approved you so congratulations! Just keep checking the site and it should update within a few days with a tracking number from USPS. I've read that status can quickly reset and you can miss the tracking number so make sure to check regularly, sign up for the text/email updates as well.

Wow, that took them awhile to approve. Congrats!

What to do? You could go to the SSA, update your status with them and get an SSN without the DHS authorization stipulation on it. You can let your school and bank know of your new permanent resident status too. You will need to remove conditions 90 days before your card expires.
