April 29

What time were you scheduled on this day???

I was scheduled same day at 6:15am and today, I got this email from the USEM:

Dear ===================,

Please be informed that we are re-scheduling all applicants scheduled to attend their interview on April 29, 2014 at 06:15 AM as visa services are unavailable on that date. Your NEW appointment for a visa interview at the Immigrant Visa section is on May 09, 2014 at 06:15 AM. This letter must be presented upon your arrival at this office on the appointment date. If you are unable to come on this date, you will have to re-schedule a new appointment by calling (632)982-5555 or visiting the appointment website at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/. We apologize for any inconvenience this re-scheduling may cause.

You should compile all required documents and undergo the required medical examination before your interview. It is important that you have your complete documents, otherwise, your visa application will be refused or you may be asked to return for another appointment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Please read and follow all interview preparation instructions for visa applicants located on the Embassy's website athttp://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html. The instructions contained on the web site will inform you of the required documentation and procedures to follow prior to the interview date.

A consular officer will determine if you are qualified for a visa during the interview. However, if it is determined that the documentation or information already provided is insufficient to establish eligibility for a visa, the officer may request the submission of additional documents or require additional information.

I FELT REALLY BAD!!!! :protest: :crying:

My wife and daughter's interview are tomorrow. Nothing was requested of us in the IL, all documents were up to date. She did get the 2013 tax return documents and will take them to the interview. Apart from that she is taking the IL, passports, medical exam receipts, medical exam vaccination records, 2013 tax forms, and pictures. I will let you know how it goes once it's done.
