Hi!

I am currently in the US waiting for my Green Card (in less than a month I have my interview). After I get it I plan on going back to Canada to ship all my stuff here. I plan on shipping/moving personal belongings but no furniture. I have a lot of kitchen ware, clothes, decoration, a bicycle, etc. What is the cheapest way for me to move this? I probably will not be able to drive since it's from Quebec to probably the South or Colorado...

Thank you.

I moved my furniture and personal belongings using this company called Alphamoving.com. I used this company to move from Jersey to Indianapolis and another company from Toronto to Jersey ( I cannot remember their name).

After moving from Canada and again in US... my advise is that be very careful.. I had a bad experience the first time. I would just call around a lot of different companies to find out about cross border moving and if they are quoting TOO LOW then just beware of them.

Also, if you can afford to rent a penske truck and drive urself with a bunch of friends then that would be the safest way to go. Remember moving companies are NOT liable if they break or loose your things. Dont put any valuable documents or items when packing.

Good luck! I know it can be super stressful!
