He specifically stated NOT to use his comments to discredit the new Ukrainian government and the RT reported that he said that this already discredits the new Ukrainian government. Clearly, he did not say that. It's a blatant lie to claim otherwise. But then, Russian state media are trained in doing just that from the old and glorious Soviet era.

It's important to hear all sides of an issue. FoxNews continues to be number one because more and more people find the message rings true. It's okay to malign Fox News, but most of the people who do only listen to the president and what MSNBC has to say about it. Fact checking doesn't bear out the slander the low-information voter renders.

Ergo, Fox is number one because many who watch other news channels, also watch Fox, which according to your premise, means that there is a large part of the Fox audience that does not listen to other channels. Those must be the low-information constituency of which you speak, to be sure.

Penny, I don't think you're so naive as to think the US or any country for that matter is devoid of people who embrace varying forms of liberal government, and those who embrace varying forms of conservative government. When you look at news reporting in the US, people watch and read the news that supports their political beliefs. There are very few true journalists left on the US, because the marketplace demands a certain type of news. I do watch and read news reports that have a negative view of me, and anyone like me. I'm realistic enough to know how Fox News gets under the skin of liberals. It gets old real fast to hear lambasting of any report just because of the source. Truth be told I'm a Libertarian, so any politician who embraces this party thinking I can embrace. There are very few things about a liberal agenda that I would ever support. Liberals feel the same about their world.
