People i had my interview today, i spent 4 hours at the consulate.. the interview was very short like 5-10 minutes..

CO asked

how we met? Where?

how many times we visited each other ?

In which state is he living?

How old is our daughter?

Where does he work?

The problem is CO asked me to bring the IRS transcripts, I showed him his W2 but consulate wanted to see only the IRS transcripts

My husband is out of state, he got his W2 but has not filed it yet.

Please friends advise can we get his IRS transcripts even when he is out of states

Second problem is he didnt send his original divorce certificate just he sent the copy, CO wants me to bring his original divorce certificate.

Please i appreciate any inputs

Thank you

1. He can print a copy of his tax transcripts from the irs.gov website.

2. If he has the original Divorce Cert, ask him to FedEx or Expressmail it to you. Otherwise, he must go to the court house where the judge signed the final divorce decree to get an original copy or certified copy.

These are two important documents the 'Guides' up the top of the page recommends you have come interview day. You could have avoided this unnecessary delay of getting your visa. Good luck!

Hubby's income for previous (2011-2012) years very less than required but for 2013 it is over than required, can it be the reason of my visa denial ? I thought that the last year income is most important, is it right???

First stop saying denial. You were given a 221G to get them what they want. It's a delay.

If previous year was under yes he needs to file ASAP and he has too get that to you Fedex as mentioned with the original or certified copy of original. The lawyer should have and he should be sued for malpractice fro being so stupid. Sorry but its his fault for not knowing this.

I am sorry to hear that. But it is not a denial, once you provide them with what they want you will get your visa. So now he has to file tax and send you the transcript.

Your husband can file his 2013 income tax online.

Sorry if I am repeating my question , just wanna be sure before he send papers

Yes his income for 2011-2012 is under than required, but for 2013 its 36 000 usd, i think its more than normal, he got his W2 but has not filed it yet,

Do you mean that he should file his W2 and gets tax return?

Can i print out his IRS transcripts for 2012 instead of him from IRS web page? Coz he is out of states

As i understood he cant get his IRS transcriots for 2013 untill he file his W2, am I right?

Hi Nodir,

I spent 4 hours at the consulate and got 221g

CO asked his divorce decree original (stupid lawyer sent only copy to NVC)

He asked his IRS transcripts for 2012 (I showed him W2 for 2013 and last months payroll checks but he didnt care)

And the last one He asked me to bring Police cert. from the head central office of internal affairs (I had it but from local office)

So my ticket for 8 of March is gonna burn or I think i can change the date but what will happen to hubby's 3 tickets for 25 I really don know ;(

Yes I feel you. Be strong everything will pass. As I have told you before our agent in Samarkand told us to get a police cert only from Tashkent from this address Address: 1, Yunus Rаjаbiy str., Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan, 100029Phone: +998 (71) 233-3882.

Да, справка о несудимости берется в мвд информационный центр в Ташкенте. С Самарканда не пойдет, только с Ташкента

That was her message.

Yes your agent was right, this is the place where i was today, and it takes 14 days to get this certificate.

You know i just talked to my hubby, he doesnt want to file his 2013 tax until the April, how do you think does consulate accept the online printed copy version of IRS transcripts or they accept only the originals ordered from IRS?

And can he get his transcripts for 2013 without filing his w2 tax ?

If there's no taxes filed there's no transcripts to get. He will have to file and then get transcripts. They are available immediately and it seems they will not accept his tax returns. Usually they are available 6 weeks after you file.

No he has to file his income tax. You have to explain him the situation. Tax transcripts is printable online so don't worry they are originals. After he files taxes, as the other member mentioned it will be available online after a months. So do this as soon as possible.

And no there wouldn't be 2013 tax transcripts since he has not yet filed his 2013 income tax. He doesn't have to wait until April to file income tax. He can do it now. Tell him to do it as soon as possible please.

If you want to use his 2013 income he MUST FILE his taxes. The W-2 is worthless. You must give them exactly what they are asking for.

He can file his taxes online, and it takes all of ten minutes to complete... I used Turbo Tax this year and filed our taxes Married Joint over the weekend, printed off my tax returns that turbo tax saved for me in a PDF file and took them with me to my AOS interview this morning... Job done. Happy Immigration Officer. Any previous tax transcripts can be printed off for free at irs.gov.

It seems daunting but I promise you its not. What they are asking you to provide is very straight forward. Take a deep breath, write a "to do" list and get everything that you need. You will be fine. The key is to stay calm and don't panic. As other VJ members have mentioned, you were no denied, its just a simple delay waiting for you to produce the other documents that they require. Good luck and keep us posted

why on Earth did you ever buy a plane ticket before your visa was in your hands? Thread after thread on visa journey and the DOS says never to make final plans until you have the visa.
