I have two questions. The packet 4 instructions state "applicants who have previous chest x-rays must bring the RESULTS with them to SLMCEC for comparative analysis" Does this mean the actual film ?

Form ds-156 line (box) 28 asks "who will pay for this trip? " The VJ guide has "Myself" What if the sponsor is paying ?

Thanks,

Dave and Flory

Yes you must bring the actual film to the Interview, as for the form, if the sponsor is paying, then you need to answer truthfully by stating the sponsor is paying for the trip.

Hi Dave and Flory,

I guess the chest x-ray result is within 6 months, you can bring the actual film.

But as other filipina who had their medical already, I never heard that St. Lukes ask for their x-rays film. But its ok to bring it than sorry, right?

In your questions in Ds-156, if your sponsor will be paying for your trip, put the name of the sponsor.

You could join us too at Fil-West forum..for sure other members who gone through it can help you more since my medical will be 3rd week of February. There are some members who will go there in advance, maybe you would like to join.

At least at our consulate they didn't want the film, the results of the x-ray is not the film, but whatever the doctor put inside your sealed medical file. Manilla might be different though since others going through Manilla said you need the film.
