1yr ban for drug use

my husband got a 1yr ban last year in august/2013. the ban was for drug use,my husband said that he had admitted that he had smoked marijuana when he was younger to the doctor that was giving him the physical. He has to go for another interview in August/2014. Ive heard that some people are told to get drug tests while awaiting the ban but my husband was not told anything like that he just received the letter stating that he was found ineligible and had to wait out the 1yr ban. Has anyone gone through this experience?

Hi Malena,

I am currently going through the same issue with my husband's case. I would like to know how it all went with you after the ban was lifted? Did you have to reapply? Was your husband tested throughout the year?
