i-485 RFE, mailed back and received over 18 days ago still nothing??!!

Hello,

SO we received an RFE dated Jan 24th regrding tax returns of cosponsor and sponsor.

We gathered all and resent Feb 11th, overnight, i check and it said it was delivered there on Feb 13th.

NOw it has been almost 20 days since then and the online status still says RFE (we mailed you and RFE on jan 24th bla bla), no mentioned of it being received afterwards or anything.

Still nothing in the mail either. No confirmation, no biometrics nothing. We initially mailed everything around Jan 2nd.

Is this wrong? should i be worried?? is it taking too long for the RFE to be addressed or at least mentioned that they received it?

I tried calling the USCIS today but all i got was a machine that read me my case status that i could check online myself anyway. I dont know how to reach an actual person?

Any advice?

PS; I applied for a travel document and stated that i needed it by march 1st bc i was going to travel in mid march and i received it to my pleasent surprise around feb 16th. But now i am a little worried to travel with it since i dont have an official NOA 1 for i-485 (besides the first one where it said there was RFE)

On the phone after they tell your status, just wait and listen to the options that you can choose, i think it was number 3 that you can choose to report a problem and talk to a real person.

if you have your AP you can travel don't worry about the noa1 for the i-485.

The website isn't that reliable. Wouldn't surprise me if it stays like this until you get your approval. Its annoying but nothing you can do about it.

I received an RFE for our AOS filed on November 18th, we sent the information the very next day and it was in RFE status until 2 days ago..So A LOT longer than 18 days. Honestly they take their time on everything and nothing is fast. I also JUST received my EAD/AP today and it took over 100 days due to the original RFE which was also for tax info...

I called USCIS every single day for the past 3 weeks to get an answer and no one was helpful. I ended up filing Obudsman once the 90 days had went over. On your case status on the USCIS it'll say allow for 60 days for a response, mine was exactly 60 days...

Just have to be patient unfortunately.
