Matthew McConaughey won the Oscar for Best Actor last night for his portrayal of Ron Woodroof, but his depiction of Ron being a straight man with AIDS is a lie. Hollywood felt it would sell better if they made the leading man straight.

Circumstantial evidence (as pointed out by Waybourn) makes it a pretty ez common sense conclusion. & if it's true (considering present day PC environment) = quite a slight and insult to the LGBT community.

Too bad how ez money buys bigotry.
