Hi everyone, I'm so happy to have found this site. Anything involving official documents, government procedures, etc makes me super nervous and I don't know anyone who has been through the system. I've already found answers to a dozen of my questions poking around on these forums.

I'm a graduate student in Oregon and my partner is a photographer in Mexico. We met online playing videogames a few years ago. Sometimes I scare myself thinking about how unlikely it is that we would have met -- we just happened to join the same public Left 4 Dead match and, well, the rest is history. I love the digital age.
