Get married and file a CR1. Why on earth would you wait so long?

I consulted with several lawyers before we decided. 4 out of 6 told me they would still deny her entry into the us for this "misrepresentation" of her visa. I believe it makes her inadmissible which is why we have to file a waiver.

You should check out immigrate2us.net. Nearly everyone on that forum has or is in the process of filing a waiver. You'll see more realistic numbers and outcomes for people who have filed and be able to get better advice regarding filing a waiver as a K-1 vs here, where many members are speaking from theory and not experience.

You'll find a list of member recommended lawyers, you'll find examples of hardship letters, etc. Many people tend to want to simplify the process on this site, and you'll at least find out how much work it is, and perhaps it'll give you a better idea of how to proceed.
