We were approved 2/26/14 and our ceac status says administrative processing. However, the courier service "DOMEX" called my fiance on Saturday from the Santo Domingo office and told him that his visa was ready, and to confirm if he wanted to pick it up or have it sent to his house. Well he was so nervous that he said he wanted to pick it up in the Santiago office, and then hung up. He didn't think to ask how long it would take to get to Santiago, or if he could pick it up in Santo Domingo. We tried calling Santo Domingo back, and they said that their passport department does not work on saturdays, and they don't know who called. We confirmed the telephone number came from the Santo Domingo office.

My question is does the ceac status have to say "issued" before we can pick it up? Or if Domex says its ready can it be picked up? does anyone know?

I would assume that if Domex says it is ready, then go pick it up. Sometimes the ceac status is wrong for days at a time. Have our interview on April 3rd then hope to pick ours up soon there after.

Day 104 03-02-2018 Notified Interview Letter Sent.

Day 151 04-18-2018 Interview at Fort Smith, AR 

Day 174 05-11-2018 Oath Ceremony at Fort Smith USCIS.

 

Day 1,370 - JOURNEY from K1 Visa to Oath of Citizenship is now COMPLETE!

Hello.

Congrats...i think domex jumped the gun when calling my fiance because he called back on monday and they told him to wait two weeks

More lies from domex. They called him to santiago for a stupid domex card. It has nothing to do with his visa. They dont have his passport...

Ceac status says visa is issued today. Not sure how long it will be before domex says its ready....
