Hi viki... me too im confused. I already filled up my ds-261 and my dad already paid the $88. According to the instruction wait 3-5 working days. Theni checked it out today. They said "The next step in the Immigrant Visa process is for the applicant to pay the Immigrant Visa Application fee. The principal applicant (or the principal applicants agent) will receive an Immigrant Visa Fee Processing Fee Bill Invoice from the National Visa Center."...

My question where we can receive the said processing bill invoice. Thanks alot

i think after paying you have to send the AOS DOCS.. they will send you email..or u can ask NVC about it..my not in that step yet. just got my case no. a week ago and the lady told me to wait 10-20 days and they will send me email re ds-261 and pay the aos sad.png

btw do you already have your father's police and nbi clearance? and also civil docs? they need nso bc,mc, gopy of ur dads passport, 2x2 pic with white background 2 copies etc...

WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP After the ds261 is completed and $88 is paid?

they will send you email.as far as i know, next step would be sending them AOS DOCS after paying aos..then when they receive it you will pay IV fee and send IV civil docs

Thanks jasmine...as i checked my case . The choice of agent which is ds-261 and affidavit of support which amounting $88 was already paid by my father. Im waiting for this "IV application processing fee" their saying. I dont know where i can get it. So i can pay it.

My preference case (f1 unmarried son daughter of us citizen).

I dont have those document. Im not sure if my father has it or he already submit it.

ohh i seee! ur dad petitioned u correct? how long has it been if u dont mind? u will be needing to comply the requirements and send them to your dad and he will sent them to NVC.. make sure u get police clearance and nbi clearance and dont forget the thumb mark

Im the one who filled up ds-261 via online. I dont know what letter he received foe him to pay the $88 fee.

My question. Did my dad will also receive notice or letter for the payment of immigration processing fee eventjough he is not the one i appoint as choice of agent

I tried to log to pay the $88 fee after completion of form ds261 and it says case terminated. How long do I have to wait to log back in and pay the $88 fee?

you can pay it 3-5 days.. its my 2nd day today and cant pay yet although ive receive already the payment instructions in my email
