Police certificates (UK) / address change query.

Hi everyone,

My wife's I-130 petition for me has just been approved as of last week and in the next stage (the DS-230) I understand Police certificates (I am from the UK) are needed. In my excitement and haste I ordered them in June of last year and since then I have moved house and the certificates have my old address on them.

My question is will I need to buy new certificates so that they show my new address or does this not matter?

Thanks :-)

For UK, they are good for 12 months. You may not be done with your NVC process and London Interview by June so could need a new one by interview time. Watch the calendar on that one.

Since the police certificate for the UK covers all addresses, counties, towns....I don't see why the address would matter on the one you send to NVC.

Thanks for your responses.

OK, it sounds like I should at least prepare another application and wait until a little closer to the time to post it off.

The I-130 is currently in Post approval stage is there a way to guesstimate the time until London interview and (fingers crossed) approval?
