There will be no war over this. The Russians (or soviets) walked into numerous east euro countries and afghanistan with the only "response" from the west coming months later.

The Korean War had a few Russians in it, for a while.

And we could have a Second Crimean War. The British need another glorious failure, à la Charge of the Light Brigade.
