I'm worried that some of the original documents that I mailed to my fiancee may not get to her in time for the Interview. I mailed them on 2/18 and her interview is 3/11. Due to my work and pressing time constraints I mailed them to an address in Manila by the US Postal Service. So we're preparing as if they don't come just in case that happens. So my question is to all here is there any document that just absolutely has to be the "ORIGINAL" or they don't let you go thru the process? She does have the original DS 160 . Can the interview appt. letter be a photo copy? I have copies of everything since the start of the petition. So what I'm planning to do is scan to her the copies of the one or two she may not have yet. I read online at the Embassy website what it says I should have but I just want to make sure of any additional documents.

Thanks so much for your assistance!!!

the "AOS," affidavit of support" document, if my memory slips me and someone can contradict this should be original with an original signature.

Mail service is the last thing I would use when sending anything of importance to the Philippines, USPS may be reliable here in the USA, but PhilPost is better known for NOT delivering. If you are worried I would suggest you resend the documents that are required to be originals using FEDEX, UPS, DHL and email the ones that can be copies.

Only original documents required are the I-134 and Letter of Intent (even though this is rarely asked for). Copies needed for the interview from the petitioner is a copy of the most recent tax return and W-2. Other things needed are evidence of an ongoing relationship and these can be copies also.
