My wife (former K-1, now USC) is bringing her kids (my step kids) over.

We are at NVC stage.

We paid the AOS and IV fees.

AOS says "PAID", so we sent in I-864W waiver for AOS.

Once the IV status displays "PAID", we will need to send in the documents. What documents do they require, or where can we get a list of documents to send in?

Thanks.

You have to fill the ds260 online, then send nvc the civil documents required http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/documents-to-submit-to-nvc.html. use dis link, I hope it helps..God bless

Right, what civil documents?

I'm thinking birth certificate and death certificate of their biological father. I don't know what else I would need to send.

Birth certificate?? YES, bt I'm not so sure about the death certificate bt I'm sure it would help cos nvc would like to knw if the child's biological father is aware of his/her migration bt since the father is late I deem it best to snd a copy of the death certificate.. that reminds me pls of the child is sixteen years and above then he/she should get a police report from his/her country of domicile pls do this so that u avoid any checklist asking for a police report.. good luck.. pls feel free to ask whatever question u want to..

Thanks. In my wife's country, minors can't get a police report. You have to be 18 or older to request one.
