How to check status of I485?

Hi Guys,

I am trying to check status of I485. Can anyone tell me how I can check the status?

When I go to below link

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp

and add profile and enter the receipt number it gives me below error:

* Customer Portfolio Insert Failed

* Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the app receipt number.

Please help....

04/20/06 (Day 77): NOA2 by email

05/05/06 (Day 92): Received by NVC

05/10/06 (Day 97): Left from NVC

05/12/06 (Day 99): Received by Consulte

05/12/06 (Day 99): Consulte mailed Packet 3

05/22/06 (Day 109): Received Packet 3

05/25/06 (Day 112): Sent Packet 3

07/11/06 (Day 159): Recived Packet 4

08/16/06 (Day 195): Scheduled Interview Date... Got VISA!!

12/06/06 (Day ): POE

12/12/06 (Day ): Wedding!!!

12/22/06 (Day ): EAD Filed

12/29/06 (Day ): AOS NOA1

yes and check the receipt numbers...in case you miss a number or two. i hope you did not forget to include the first 3 letters for the receipt number.

Give it a couple of days. When I got my NOAs for AOS & EAD I encountered the same problem, I called USCIS's 800-number and they did an investigation as to why the receipt number was causing an error, but the officer just told me to give it up to 2 weeks and my case status would be viewable. And sure enough within a couple of days I was able to view my case status.

AOS/EAD

October 11, 2006 - Mailed AOS/EAD packet received in Chicago

October 16, 2006 - Receipt NOA1 issued ---> (Day 1)

October 19, 2006 - Received NOA1 in mail for EAD and AOS

October 26, 2006 - Received Biometrics Appt Letter ---> (Day 11)

October 31, 2006 - Biometrics Appt in Birmingham, AL ---> (Day 16)

January 4, 2007 - NO TOUCHES SINCE BIOMETRICS ... ---> (Day 81)

January 5, 2007 - EAD APPROVED; CARD ORDERED ... THANK YOU JESUS ... ---> (Day 82)

January 16, 2007 - AOS no touches/transfers/updates ... still waiting ---> (Day 93)

April 11, 2007 - AOS INTERVIEW --- APPROVED ON THE SPOT -- GREENCARD ORDERED

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE ...
