you can make appointement and get you I551 one more year extension so you can travel and also let someone check your mail during travel maybe they ask for RFE or interview

hope you receive you green card before the expiration of the one year extension

Hey you guys. So we are March 2014 fliers who have still not received approval

On 12/9/14, I did a case inquiry, and we were told:

So basically, we can't ask again until May?? Will they give another year extension? Will he be able to travel (we always go visit his family in summer)? We are at a loss.

In March u will be eligible to apply for citizenship so I'd say start preparing for sending N400 and required docs.

To be honest, citizenship wasn't something we were sure we ever wanted to pursue. We just want him to be able to live and work in the US, and for us to be able to travel between Canada and the US.

So I finally got my 10 yr greencard!

Went to the interview. The interview was really weird he says I was randomly selected but then said I was also wanted by the police in Philadelphia for drug offences? To be clear this is ridiculous I've only been to Philadelphia twice in my life and never bene involved with drugs in anyway - not even booze or coffee. Apparently the police stopped someone with the exact same first middle and last name as me as well as same D.o.B. Weird. I'm not sure if he was making it up because by the end of it I was very worried and asking how I could clear it up and the interviewer says not to worry about and it is probably a mistake. During the interview he went out to talk to his colleague a couple of times.

He didn't ask for any proof of my marriage (we did have baby with us though)

Got my greencard after nearly 11 months of waiting, I didn't realize what a relief it would be to have it in my hand.
