We are all at the mercy of USCIS.. My case took more than 8 months before approval. From December 5-August... So all you have to do is to keep filing service requests and get an infopass to get actual update. Without any of these, you can only pray and wait... :protest:

March VSC filers - I got notice that my green card is in production. Best of all, I have a near mid-March NOA1 date....so things are looking up for March filers.

I sent my details earlier, but they were not added to the list. Here they are again

Filed I-751 Feb 22

NOA1 - March 10th

Biometrics - April 8th

Approved - Sept 19th

Funny thing is, I called the USCIS Monday and was told a service request could not be filed because the officer hadn't noted that the file was being reviewed yet ( I don't know the technical term for this). Basically, it was sitting on a desk in a cube somewhere in St. Albans. I got the notice that the green card was in production 5 days later.

Just got off the phone with USCIS.... they told me VSC is currently working on March 3rd cases and that I should check after the 15th of october for a newer update... :(

The lady also said they are outside of processing times but they only update their processing times on the website once a month.

Hello all! New to this thread and haven't been on Visa Journey for a couple of years now. General "what would you do" question. I'm a US citizen, my husband is the applicant.

We received an I-751 RFE for various issues but one was requesting proof of joint residence and financial assets. My husband and I rented an apartment from 2012-2013 but last year we closed on a house together.

The mortgage was in my name only but we both signed off on the deed of trust (following state homestead laws). Unfortunately, the people that drafted up the deed of trust have my name as "Jane Doe, a single woman" on the first page.

This was obviously a typo, but the document was already recorded in the county long ago. I'm wondering if I should even include it, so as to not confuse the USCIS agents. There is no question that we are married otherwise, I just want to tread carefully with our friends at the USCIS.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

AOS From K-1 Visa (POE 4/6/12)

Day 1 (4/24/12): Sent I-131, I-765, I-485 via FedEx to Chigago

Day 3 (4/26/12): Delivered

Day 7 (4/30/12): 3 Texts/Emails Received with April 26th NOA1 Date

Day 8 (5/01/12): Check Cashed

Day 12(5/05/12): Biometrics Appt. Letter received (for 5/25/12)

Day 31(5/24/12): Successful Walk-in Biometrics

Day 73(7/04/12): Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 78(7/09/12): 2nd Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 79(7/10/12): Notification EAD/AP has been mailed and Notification EAD/AP Picked up by USPS

Day 81(7/12/12): EAD/AP card arrives!

Day 88(7/19/12): Interview for AOS: Approved!

Day 96(7/27/12): Green Card in Hand!!

Can someone please help us to update our case status for the Vermont Service Center? It has been a long road to here, but to God be the glory. We are so thankful that our case was APPROVED today!!!!

Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On September 25, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

2003/4 School Year: Met hubby while we were in college...became great friends
2005: My college graduation
2011: Began dating
1/13/12: Got Married to the world's best hubby
2/2/12: Mailed I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox
2/3/12: Package received and signed for by USCIS
2/13/12: Received NOA1 for all 3 petitions
2/16/12: Got driver's license reinstated
2/17/12: Received notice for biometrics appointment
3/1/12: Biometrics appointment successful
3/5/12: Received notification of appointment for interview scheduled for April 4, 2012
3/28/12: Received notification that production has been ordered for my EAD
4/4/12: AOS interview with my hubby; approved on the spot! Thank you Jesus!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING TO GREEN CARD APPROVAL: 2 months and 2 days.....Didn't even get EAD; no need for it with green card!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS:

3/11/14: Shipped I-751 package to Vermont Service Center

3/12/14: Received at VSC and signed for by L ZUCHOWSKI.

3/17/14: Payment shows on our bank account for the check written.

4/4/14: Early biometrics successful!

9/25/14: Case update: APPROVAL NOTICE!!!

10/4/14:10 year green card arrived in the mail!!! Yay!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING I-751 TO APPROVAL: 6 months and 14 days....No RFE or interview! Thankful to God that this is behind us!

Hey everyone. Glad to see VSC is starting to slowly pick up steam!

My 10 year GC arrived at my US address while I was away in Canada. My husband didn't end up FedExing it to me in Canada, so I had to cross with my expired one + extension letter + print out of the e-mail notifications about my new card (production, delivery).

Didn't even need to pull my extension letter out! I handed over my expired card and passport, he scanned both, and sent me on my way. I guess they can see that I have a new one on their system? It was a breeze :)

USCIS

Jul 15/11 - Sent I-130 Package from Honolulu

Jul 18/11 - I-130 package received & signed for in Chicago
Jul 19/11 - Priority Date
Jul 21/11 - NOA1/USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received
Jul 29/11 - Received I-797C hard copy
Aug 4/11 - Touched
Feb 16/12 - NOA2 Approval (212 days since Priority Date)

Feb 28/12 - NVC Case Number, BIN & IIN Assigned, Optin E-mail for EP Sent

03/26/2012 (Day 376) Emails confirming that my I-130 and I-485 have been approved.

4/2/2012 Green Card In Hand!

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

3/24/2014 Application for conditions to be removed

2003/4 School Year: Met hubby while we were in college...became great friends
2005: My college graduation
2011: Began dating
1/13/12: Got Married to the world's best hubby
2/2/12: Mailed I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox
2/3/12: Package received and signed for by USCIS
2/13/12: Received NOA1 for all 3 petitions
2/16/12: Got driver's license reinstated
2/17/12: Received notice for biometrics appointment
3/1/12: Biometrics appointment successful
3/5/12: Received notification of appointment for interview scheduled for April 4, 2012
3/28/12: Received notification that production has been ordered for my EAD
4/4/12: AOS interview with my hubby; approved on the spot! Thank you Jesus!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING TO GREEN CARD APPROVAL: 2 months and 2 days.....Didn't even get EAD; no need for it with green card!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS:

3/11/14: Shipped I-751 package to Vermont Service Center

3/12/14: Received at VSC and signed for by L ZUCHOWSKI.

3/17/14: Payment shows on our bank account for the check written.

4/4/14: Early biometrics successful!

9/25/14: Case update: APPROVAL NOTICE!!!

10/4/14:10 year green card arrived in the mail!!! Yay!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING I-751 TO APPROVAL: 6 months and 14 days....No RFE or interview! Thankful to God that this is behind us!

Your VJ Timeline says your filing date is 03/11, NOA date is 03/19, Bio date is 04/04. Are these dates correct?

Oh, and it says CSC??? Something is wrong here...
