i-751 March 2014 Filers UNITE !

today marks exactly 6 months since my NOA 1 date, i called up USCIS and they suggested to call back on Monday and submit an online request if i dont see anything in the mail over the weekend because it took more than average processing time for Vermont to process my application.

@phinexe - so how does this work? Do you call the main line? What's the difference between first and second tier people and how do you get to second tier? What, in the end, can come of putting in an online request?

i spoke to one of customer reps, and he suggested i wait until Monday. If nothing happens by Monday, i am planning on speaking to someone from second tier. i guess when you put in the online request, it allows them to see youve been waiting for half a year, and they need to take action. However, i am also planning on making an infopass appointment, and going to one of the immigration offices to get my passport stamped because i will be traveling out of the country next month. I will most likely ask them to a see a supervisor in person, if i dont hear anything by then.

I am also at 6 months and have not heard anything, vermont of course. Should i maybe ask the lawyer to check?

I find it weird that California is working so fast but vermont, gees, i am assuming they are just enjoying summer

How are those with later NOA dates recieve an answer before the ones filed earlier than they did? Does USCIS go in order? or they just randomly look at files from each month? anyone have any idea?

So it's been 6 months and 2 days since I got my noa 1 extension letter a And not a peep from uscis , vsc here

i spoke to an immigration officer couple days ago about my case status, and she said it could take 6-12 months for removing of conditions Sulph.

Hi guys FYI I am not on the list but our i751 was received March 13th and just checked online and it says New card in production as of September 8th and to expect it in mail within 30 days. This was a VCS case so hopefully you guys will see your approvals soon.

Update: today I received a letter stating that my I-751 petition has been denied and my residence status terminated. The reason being because I was unable to provide a divorce decree, I am waiting for the final judgement to be signed by a judge. The letter states I will have a court hearing with an Immigration Judge and I am to turn in my GC to my local office. Obviously I am worried beyond belief, I just started a new job last week and now I might lose it all, don't know what to do or say right now.

Thank you! I appreciate the advice, I am meeting with another lawyer this week to get a 2nd opinion. It's not over til' it's over! I have to stay optimistic, I have done nothing wrong except fail to provide a divorce decree which is still processing.
