Hi we have the interview next march 25, WE don't have much aside for photos, some cards for the wedding, we want to get AAA , a Family plan with the cell phone company and a joint account, we don't have lease contract nor the possiblity to get any bill at our name. any other suggestion of proofs that can we get in this three weeks?

Another question is if I need to do all the medical exams again, because I jut did that in Argentina on july 2013, before my interview in the embassy. Is that enough?. Thanks!

They would let you know if you needed another medical! As far as the proof, I have my interview very soon and we have a joint bank account, credit card together, baby together, my name is the authorizer of the cell phone bill and a few others. I would see about at least a joint bank account, because pictures are "secondary evidence". Do you guys live alone? I'm sure you have some bills that you could put her as an authorizer or secondary person on...It's a big deal apparently to see that you're co mingling financially, or that's what I've researched.

I agree with Katie....

An AOS interview is to prove a bona fide marriage. Primary evidence will be anything that links you financially. This is what an IO will be wanting to see evidence of.

It was incredibly hard for me to pull some of primary evidence together as my SS# and EAD only came through this week and my AOS interview is on 4th March. In that short space of time we managed to pull together the following:

  • Joint tenancy lease
  • Joint utility bills (this posed a problem as each utility provider stated they only use ONE name on the paper bill, so my husband went to the online paying account for each utility provider and added me on there, which we printed out)
  • Joint credit card
  • Documents stating I am my husbands beneficiary
  • A letter from my husbands work stating I am listed on their records as an emergency contact
  • This years taxes filed as married Joint
  • Joint Bank account
