Hello everyone,

I'm the petitioner. I'm applying for the AOS with the I485, I sent it around the middle of Jan 2014. I received the NOA around the 20ish of January. On the 31st of January I saw online the USCIS sent me a RFE for initial evidence but on the 13th of Feb it was returned from the post office as undeliverable ... I called the 14th of Feb, they were supposed to send it again (address never changed, my name is on the mail box, I've been receiving mails from everywhere without no problem) and today, march the 1st, it was returned from the post office again!!!

What should I do? I know there is a due date that I must respect but what if I dont receive the RFE before that date? I tried to get a infopass but it would not let me get one!

Please help..

You need to check with the post office about why it keeps being returned. Also, check with the USCIS to make sure your address is correct in their system and have them resend it, again.

Thanks Jay-Kay,

I checked with the USCIS and the address is right (I also received other mail from them like the Notice of Action for the I485 itself so I dont know why THIS creates problem..). They sent it again and yesterday it was returned again!!! So tomorrow (monday) I will call to make sure they will send it again... should I change address to a friend's office or something?

I checked with the post office and they said they will try to intercept the mail to be returned again...

Also something strange happened.. right now the status online changed and it says :

Card/ Document Production

On March 1, 2014 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

why?!?
