For what it is worth it's porn. The purpose of the pictures is to stimulate sexually. Nudity is not porn but provocative pictures are, not sure how you can look at it any other way when you look at the whole ethos of the playboy empire. I don't get the question really, the op knows it is porn, classic 70's porn maybe but the only reason he cares about it is because he is nostalgic for the fumbling under the covers while poring over its pages.
