We finally got our case number and IIN today.

Weird thing is, we didn't call them - they e-mailed us with the instructions and the details. I already filled up the DS261. Does my husband need to fill that up too? And I'm assuming that it will take a couple of days before they let us pay the AOS *sigh* I'm just hoping to finish the NVC phase within a month. I'm giving birth soon and I'd rather not have this to worry about.

Have you asked for an expedite with the NVC?

Hello Saylin! I just want to ask if I can just present the relationship evidences (like the airfare ticket, pictures, etc.) at the embassy on my interview or it's better to send it to NVC. I already sent my police clearance and other civil documents to my husband coz he will be the one to send the IV package to NVC as soon as IV is being billed. I am just afraid that if I send those relationship evidences to NVC, I have nothing or less to show on my interview. Hope you can give advise regarding this. Thank you! :)

patiently waiting for case completed. Help me God.

You are reaching the end zone as far as NVC goes. Congratulations. I am sure this journey will be over and your wife will be with you very soon. May God bless both of you.

Would you complete your Timeline and also ask Ms. Saylin to add you to her worksheet. This helps everyone to estimate their wait times in various stages of the process.

PO box may not be acceptable to Embassy, they want physical residential address.

If the relocation is within a city, you can rent PO BOX and use that as a mailing address. That will help you to avoid changing mailing address.

Remember, the package won't show up in their system until the review has started. There was no need to send the package again. It'll actually probably cause a delay as when they receive it, if your case has been closed, then they'll have to re-open it.

O no it was just the AOS package i sent the IV package just once together with the second AOS package... i wish i could believe my case would be complete sometime soon but im like almost 100% sure we are gonna get check-listed... but thanks saylin... as u are well aware... YOURE AWESOME!goofy.gif

Hi, April 2013 filer here. We just got our case number from NVC.

Notice 2: January 17, 2014 (Case transferred from NBC to Nebraska November 17, 2013)

Case arrived at NVC: January 29, 2014

Case number in system at NVC: March 10, 2014

They said 10-20 business days for the first correspondence, they have our email information. Hoping along with everyone else that each step of this does not take the maximum number of quoted days:) Thanks to this forum though I did request the Invoice ID# and Beneficiary ID# which were available if that ends up saving us any time.

Good luck everybody.
