it was recommend by  NLR, thanks to himÂ

Â

I tried 4 times before the 5th person was nice and realized that its more than 5 weeks and i have not received my invoice

and he said he will put a supervisor review on my case.Â

Â

few times earlier i called they said iam not eligible for this review, and few operators said i will get it soon.

Â

I don't know how this supervisor review works but hopefully i get invoiced soon.Â

I will keep u posted on this forum.Â

but its really frustrating when everyone gets invoiced and mine does not flow like other peoples progress.Â

My NOA2 and email updates say that my petitions have been transferred to DoS. How different is that from NVC?

Who do I call to check for date of receipt and case number? DoS or NVC?

What a bummer... On my DS 260 I checked divorced as I was served with divorce summons in 6/2012. It being so long I thought my divorce would have finished as my ex was really interested in making my life miserable during my VAWA journey. But yesterday I called the clerk office in my county and the lady informed me the divorce was closed as neither party showed on the hearings. I couldn't as I was not in the country neither did she. So now legally I am still married..

Can anyone advice me what can be done? Do I wait for NVC to send me checklist for divorce decree as I sent only my summons along with a LOE. Or should I send the letter from court house stating it was dismissed? My friend can get a letter. It will cost 50 cents.

Please advice

Got email from NVC today asking for IV package. My husband called NVC just to double check and the rep. confirmed that they have the IV package and it's under review at the moment.I sent the IV package soon after i sent the AOS,using the AOS cover sheet even before my IV was invoiced. The email i received today was just a form email for it was the next logical step in the process.Since they already received my IV package a week ago so I'm good to go and the email i got today i basically have to disregard.dancin5hr.gifAOS went through and IV is under review!

Thanks for this, anuspras! My case was received on the same date! I was going to start calling on March 25th (20 business days). I'm just praying that I can get my AOS package in before April 15th (because of 2013 tax return)....

Sukie

Hi Sukie,

Im looking at your timeline and i was reading anuspras' post just now.

Your case was approved before of my wife (1/31) and it was received at the NVC on (2/25)

Our case was approved (2/11) and it was received on (2/21)

Isnt that hilarious.

I bet you $ 100 that you get a case Number/IIN BEFORE us.

This is how unpredictable these dates are

Hello,

I just submitted my AOS packet on Monday (I am the petitioner and my wife is the beneficiary). Now that the packet is off to the NVC would it be possible for me to quit my job and go live with my wife in her country until the immigration process is over? I'm wondering if the NVC or Interview process will require additional income at a later date which I would not be able to provide if I go live with her. We are just sick and tired of being separated, it is wearing on our relationship and she makes more money than I do anyways so me staying with her for a few months is not a hardship on us really. Im simply worried I will need to prove income at some point after the AOS process and I wont be able to. Thank you for your input.

From what I've seen, and others can chime in.. since it's a specific line item check-list; it's not a false check list.

I have been concerned about this, and I have seen so many others that have got a checklist for this item.

What value did you fill out for the total income? Did you use the 1040 "total income"?

Did you have W-2 income plus other income such as Capital gains/Dividends/interest etc?

The part that concerns me is that 864-ez instruction state that all the income being used to qualify must be Sponsor's W-2 incomes. What happens if you qualify via the W-2 incomes alone but have other incomes such as listed above. Do they expect you to only report the W-2 incomes in that filed? Or do they not want you to use 864-EZ all together.

Hi there,

Do you think I will get a check list? I filled out the total income on I-864ez exactly like my tax transcript and the decimal is arounded up

2012 total income I put is 69080.00 but on w2 is 69079.78.

On the I-864ez instruction

For purposes of this affidavit, the line for gross (total) income on IRS Forms 1040 and 1040A will be considered when determining income.

Thanks!
