If you get the files all joined up at NVC, then you should be able to send one big AOS package (with one "master" set for one case, then copies for the others) and one big IV package.

Only I can update the spreadsheet and only if people tell me there's anything new.

You can if you wish, but I'd suggest just calling once a week or so as it'll be awhile before anything happens.

Joint sponsors can only be US citizens or residents. So, the beneficiary's parents won't be able to help if they're citizens of Pakistan.

You either need to find a joint sponsor or get a job that will cover your household size.

Called NVC today.... They said I can expect my case number by March end - April first week.....

NVC received my case on Feb 25th.... Hope this information helps for a case receipt estimate....

Thanks for this, anuspras! My case was received on the same date! I was going to start calling on March 25th (20 business days). I'm just praying that I can get my AOS package in before April 15th (because of 2013 tax return)....

To everyone that is doing Electronic processing like Canada and China and other applicants, I got my email today saying that it was accepted for the OPTIN. It took 18 days from when I sent the email FYI. Good luck to all.

I already did my package, gathered tax documents, employment letter, etc ..Just waiting to get the Joint-sponsor documents done too..I also told him to get the PCC and mail it to me so I'm waiting on that too

will they need his signature on anything ? (maybe I can send him now and he can mail with the document he will mail to me) or will the documents he will need to sign come later on in the process?

I have a question.MY PD for f2a category is June 12th 2013.Got approved on NOV 7th 2013. NVC received case on dec 30st 2013.I did all formalities which are needed to finish your case.But i got a checklist on feb 14 2014 that my I864 EZ form i didn't put N/A on secondary address and they need a prove of domicile. I sent them what did they ask.On feb 21st 2013 they put it into system.and when i called them today on march 10th 2014. they still saying it will take 30 working days.what do you reckon when i can accept some kind of response from them as i am to scared from retrogression. any idea thanks in advance.I appreciate u for the work you are are doing.God Bless u

Just an update on my case.. got false checklists for my IV packages today, NVC has "received" both DS-260 submissions. Another baby step.

Matt: Well, we received your case and it's being put into the computer right now.

Me (excited): Right now??? Like, I will have a case number and everything today?

Matt: No.

Me: But you said it's being entered into the computer RIGHT NOW.

Matt: Well, right now as in a window of 30 business days.
