Alright folks, I'll be gone till later tonight. It's my grandma's funeral in an hour... cray5ol.gif (Whole reason I'm in Canada right now)

In times like these it seems hard to comprehend why some things happen... but please take heart and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I know someday you will meet her again. Please read the Bible book of Revelations 21:3-5 if you can; I've always found those words very comforting

It's okey to submit your 2013 Tax Returns but you will have to add the W2s, and all the other documents you submitted to IRS. Don't leave anyone of them out!!!secret7vf.gifsecret7vf.gif

Hi Saylin goofy.gif goofy.gif

Hi i am from sri lanka and my husbandheart.gif heart.gif sent I 130 on 29/10/2013 and I 130 application already in NVC from last 24/12/2013, and PD is 29/12/2013 do you have any idea when my PD date will be come current.

Also i saw http://tinyurl.com/4k7365v and in the pending list i don’t see my details.

And my husband is planning to apply for citizenship before March 20, 2014, and how long it will take to get the citizenship and after the citizenship will my process get faster or it's different to sri lanka.

Thank you

Kaush crying.gifcrying.gifcrying.gif

Hello Kaush,

Nice to see that another SL in the thread also on same boat, F2A. The dates for Worldwide category is at Sep 08th, 2013 and according to the visa predictions it will be retrogressed in July. But I have a feeling it will go back way before that as Mexico PD already went back to Apr-2012.

Since your PD is in Dec 2013 I think it is better to go with IR-1/CR-1 route (via husband's citizenship) as the way things are going on F2A is going to hit the wall. But I have no idea how long will it take to get the citizenship. That you need to find out.

Let me know....

thank you for any input.

Only embassy/consulate in Canada that processes IR-1/CR-1 applicants is Montreal, so yes, you'll be interviewing there.

2013 or 2012 will be accepted as the most recent year up until the tax deadline of April 14th. After that, only 2013 will be accepted as the most recent year. If you don't have the tax transcript, then you'll have to send a copy of the ENTIRE tax return (1040, W2s, 1099s, schedules, worksheets, etc); basically everything sent to the IRS has to be sent to the NVC.
