Hi Saylin,

Which timeline? So far I just got approved on March 06 as I mentioned to you and waiting for CSC to ship my document to NVC. Once I verified my documents reached NVC, I will update the time on the spreadsheet. I think that may take 10 to 15 days. Thanks again for you help for all!

Your timeline: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=180087 Please fill it in.

And you can't update my spreadsheet, only I can.

Well it's different requirements from country to country and I was referring to India, for me they did not bother much "Why " I was applying for a PCC; all they wanted was which country this PCC will be used.

No one in passport office asked me for any additional document from USA. ( NOA2 copy was not asked and I did not show them)

So I would suggest in India There is no need to change passport.

"

I wanted to second that. My wife (beneficiary) got her PCC at the Kolkata Regional Passport Office about 3 weeks ago. She did have the NOA2 with her but they never asked for it. On the PCC application form she did declare that she is married but they never asked to see her marriage certificate or asked her to change her passport (last name change and/or adding hubby's name in the passport). She was in and out of the RPO in about an hour with the PCC in hand. I had asked her to get 2 originals so we could send one to NVC and the other she can carry to Mumbai.

I can't believe u guys r lucky here in ahmedabad PSK officer said you have to amend your wife's name for that you have to reissue your passport n my agent suggest me same thing or else you ll get pcc written status single as I don't have enough time to think I ll reissue my passport bcs it's too much headache to convince them to issue pcc n they will not issue

"ll get pcc written status single"

Indian PCC issued by passport office does not Indicate marriage status, I am sure the same format will be used by your PSK too.
