No luck today for a case#. Looking at posts from the last three days, it seems NVC is assigning cases to files received on Jan.24th-29th. By that count I should expect ours around March 18th, I guess?

Thats my hope also....15th to 18th....Im a Feb 6 also

Could someone help lighting up this question:

- As i said before they have placed the lawyer as our Agent, after contact we were told to send an e-mail referencing that the lawyer is not our agent anymore, but nevertheless, apparently they haven't seen that e-mail yet, as according to the NVC lady they are still going on e-mail's received from February 14th.

Anyways, the invoice's have been made, and my husband has paid the fees for the AOS, and is going to pay the IV fees too, question is: Can we continue with the process normally, even if we hadn't fill the DS-261 and e-mail them All the packets , AOS and IV packets? Even though we are not yet the agents?

Well it kind of can't because you need the DS-261 to be accepted to get the IV bill to be invoiced. They can do the AOS part but until the other part happens you're not able to send IV docs or do the DS-260.

Also..what do you do if you never saved your old w2s?? I only have this years

I haven't called them yet! Will do so on Monday, but since we both were approved on the 20th and at CSC, it is likely that our files left the building in the same bundle... we will see come Monday.

I don't think my husband has saved his W2s.. but since we will be sending tax trasnscripts, I haven't bugged him to look for them! You don't need your old W2s if you are sending IRS tax transcript..

Yes you can. I also fired my lawyer and my bills are paid.

The PCC does not have this but he needs to add his wife's name using a reissued passport.

When you show them NOA2 - which has your relative's name on the petition - the staff at the PSK will force you to add her name.

Without his wife's name, there is no PCC.

No IV complete.

Well it's different requirements from country to country and I was referring to India, for me they did not bother much "Why " I was applying for a PCC; all they wanted was which country this PCC will be used.

No one in passport office asked me for any additional document from USA. ( NOA2 copy was not asked and I did not show them)

So I would suggest in India There is no need to change passport.

I just got off the phone with the NVC and It's sad to say my case has not been uploaded which means, I don't have a case number

I understand. Wife is a former citizen of india (for 28 years) - now a citizen of the Kingdom of Brunei (for last 5 years)

So we had to get a PCC for India.

Every PSK officer asked us why the NOA2 was needed.

Maybe you had a very liberal officer.

Anyone know how long do the IV and AOS bills take to show paid? I made payment on 3/5 and showing still in process ?
