Anyone an expert on IRS transcripts? If you do NOT know I am not looking for opinions, please.

IF I have my 2013 IRS FORM W2 form in hand and I have completed my Tax estimation worksheets and PAID my tax liability - and filed IRS Form 4868 (extension)

I then have up until OCTOBER 15th to file my final federal income tax report. This is KNOWN.

My questions are few- IF I REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT FOR 2013 will it show my tax payment and request for extension? furthermore depending on that answer- will the AOS consider the W2 Form, Tax Payment and worksheet documentation for 2013 income- It is NOT PAST DUE until October 15th? In this particular situation I have NOT changed jobs and have current paycheck stubs and a letter of employment in hand for 2014. I want them to consider 2013 income and current income- am I SOL?

ANd I left it at that and said THANK YOU. Question…. from what I hear the i130 is the "worst" part…. once this is approved the NVC is more of a "process", and is there to "check you documents". is this true?

Also I hear that the interview in London is also quite easy (if you have no criminal record etc)….

So basically one the USCIS i130 part is over, it should be pretty straightforward…. as long as you file the right paperwork and don't have a criminal record etc etc...

Please Help.. I received a checklist regarding my AOS. "Income indicated on the I-864EZ Part 19 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2(s). What should you put in there? I put the " wages, salaries, tips, etc" is that in correct?? what should I put there?

If you filed a 1040 you put total income, if you filed a 1040EZ then it's adjusted gross income. Use the 1040 for the guide, not the w2.

No there is no tax transcripts for filing an extension. You will have already got that letter or form. Tax transcripts are for completed tax returns. That's what a tax transcript is a tax return.

For them to consider your 2013 you need to do your taxes. Or roll the dice and hope they accept just looking at your W2. It's so close to filing some CO's will want taxes competed at interview.

No the operators who answer the phones are totally different function then those who adjudicate. They are the officers that look at your file and review and accept.

ekec, have you gotten any further in your investigation about the EP process for Mexico? Last I knew it was mandatory EP, but that CDJ instead of MEP is making me wonder. Since I just spent two cups of coffee worth of time reading 67 pages here, I'm hoping to cheat off your work. I'm all Googled out for the moment. sleepy.gif

Saylin and Sascafig, it appears to be true. Mexico is no longer doing EP. I called NVC back and spoke to the super nice guy who gave me my case number and he confirmed this.
