I just got off the phone with NVC. CASE COMPLETE!

I am crying with relief; now we are waiting on an interview date.

Saylin,

If I (the petitioner) fill out DS-261 (choice of address and agent), do I need to indicate so on the form? i.e fill out the last section "preparer of form"?

Thanks for directing me to the error messages on the first page!

Another question to clarify. I sent the OPTIN email for EP. Do I need to receive a confirmation from NVC about that?

I got a generic automatic reply but nothing confirming my enrollment into EP. Is that fine?

We sent in our ENROLL E-Mail for EP last Friday and are still waiting on the conformation E-Mail from N.V.C. with our New Case #...maybe today!!!!..We can't send in our Documents until we get the New Case # as it would get lost in the System.

Has anyone with an NOA2 of 26th Feb had their file received by the NVC?

Our file has not been received yet.

Guys, do you know whether this is an accurate example of a I-864 form that we can use if there is only one beneficiary (wife) - http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-864.pdf?

K-3 visa (most likely IR1/CR1 visa) (embassy: Warsaw, Poland)

USCIS

08/13/2013 I-130 NOA1

08/23/2013 I-129F NOA1

02/26/2014 I-130 and I-129F approved (!)

03/12/2014 I-130 and I129F received by NVC

03/12/2014 I-129F assigned a case number (starts with "MSC" and does not work)

Hi all, we just got approved on Wednesday. smile.png Quick couple of questions about sending in paystubs and relationship evidence: 1. How many months of paystubs is recommended? and 2. When I send in the additional relationship evidence does it have to include copies of the same evidence I initially sent in to USCIS, or do they forward everything over to the NVC? Thanks!

I think most people do 6 months of paystubs. Your relationship evidence will be forwarded; if you want to send additional at the NVC stage you should send more recent things, i.e., since your initial I-130 petition was submitted. More recent photos, chat/phone logs, etc. None of that is required, but if you decide you'd like to include it, it should go with the IV packet rather than the AOS.

AOS shows as paid on the portal this morning and my packet will arrive at NVC today dancin5hr.gif Now the long wait for them to accept and review everything.

Collie, I saw your post on my email updates but it must be a half dozen pages back by now -- what a nightmare that must've been! Thank goodness you could run right back and get the post office to add it for you. I think I would've melted into a puddle on the floor after an adrenaline rush like that.
