Omg. Just got the case number. The guy I spoke to (Mel) was so super nice!

Saylin, please add me to the spreadsheet. smile.png Thank you!

Hi Saylin,

Thanks for answering. It helps a lot.

So for some reason my dad's old company is gone and they didn't put him in w4 so no w2. Anyway, my parents will be filing tax jointly and all together total is 31,500. Do they have to send my wife the updated I-864 from my dad and I-864A from my mom, or the copy that we already have, the one we send the NVC. NVC has already approved the AOS and added to the case file though.

Are you referring to bringing 2013 taxes to the interview? If so, then after filing the taxes, yes, an updated I-864 and I-864A should be filled out and brought to the interview.

My husband called NVC tonight and learned that our case was received on March 4. Can I be added to the spreadsheet? Thanks!

Added!

I would like to ask cause im just waiting on my interview schedule at US embassy Manila...

My husband already sent a copy of AOS packet...should i have to provide my own copy of AOS to show during interview? Or not needed? Pls..any idea will help..thank you...

You should bring a copy of everything submitted to the interview. It's just good practice to do this...

So if I am adding some evidence "photos/bank receipts etc" with my IV package, how do I attach them? Do I put separate envelope for each and write down on each envelope [PHOTOS] ; [other Docs...] and include the required docs. Can we use paper clip?

Just to get an idea what others have done..Thanks in advance

I'd suggest paperclipping all the relationship evidence together and putting it at the back of the IV package. No need for another envelope. I also suggest just printing out a blank sheet of paper with something along the lines of "relationship evidence" printed on it, along with the case number and names.

Thank you to all who put so much work into this.

We received I-130 petition approval and are now awaiting the beginnings of the NVC process. My question is this, in our I-130 I included everything but the kitchen sink: mine and my spouses' birth certificate, all pages of our passports, joint bank statement, original 'copy' of our marriage license, photos of us through the years, cards, affidavits of bona fide marriage, two each passport photos, and evidence of travel for us both.

My question is, as part of the NVC stage will I need to resubmit much of this documentation again (birth certificate, marriage license, passport pages, etc) or will my entire package make its' way though the bowls of NVC and thus all my pre-work pay off?

Someone needs to read posts 1 and 2 ;) Yes, some of that (certificates, passport) will be required again in the IV package. Doesn't matter that it was included in the I-130 petition, it needs to be sent again (although this time, for the certificates, the original/certified copies will be needed).

A couple of verification questions on I-864:

1. What is the Alien Registration Number in Part 1, Item 5? Is this the one printed on NOA2 for I-130? What if we have two Alien Registration Numbers (one on NOA2 for I-130 form and one on NOA2 for I-129F form - both forms were approved at the same time)?

2. If it just the petitioner and the beneficiary, Item 7 of Part 3 should state "1", Item 1 of Part 5 should state "1" and Item 2 of Part 5 should state "1", and then Item 8 of Part 5 should state "2", right?

3. Item 3 of Part 5 should be left blank, right?

4. If the petitioner is sending all three recent tax returns/transcripts, then we do not have to check Item 13 of Part 6, right?

5. In Part 6 "Sponsor's Income and Employment", if the petitioner is the only sponsor and his income qualifies, only one item should be completed, Item 5, where the current income is specified. The rest of Part 6 should be left empty, right?

6. How should the name be "printed" in the end of the document? Can it be done electronically or only by hand?

7. Even though page 9 of the form (Part 9) has not been applicable, we still have to include this empty part in the completed form package, right?

Thanks so much for your confirmations!

1. If you don't already have an A number, then it's only assigned after the visa is issued. I believe you're referring to the receipt number which is NOT the same thing.

2. Yes

3. No, it's best to fill the others in with a zero.

4. I suggest checking off both 13 and 14. That's what we did.

5. Yup

6. If you're referring to page 8, it says to print, not type, so I'd do that by hand.

7. Yes, you must include all pages, otherwise you may get a checklist.

Finally gotten the case no and iin from nvc but the guy refused to accept email addresses since am not the petitioner but the mother to the beneficiary (minor 10yrs)..

You have to be the petitioner or beneficiary to add information. Doesn't matter if the beneficiary is a minor and that you're the mother. They're unfortunately strict about this.

I just called NVC and was told that Mexico is no longer doing EP. Does anyone know of there is any truth to this?

I've not heard anything about this at all. I'd suggest calling back up and speaking with another operator.

Where can I get a prove that my visa is on process and should I wait till they send me a letter of request for my PCC? Your immediate reply would greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rose

That you'll need to ask your lawyer. Some lawyers have you do everything while others don't want you to do anything. You'll need to speak with yours and see what their policy is.

Hi All

I sent both my AOS and civil documents in one package. Confirmed with NVC regarding the divorce decree and they advices send in a LOE stating the issue and may be they accept it. Package should be delivered by tomm. Morning. When should I call NVC to check if package received and scanned into the system? Secondly will there be an issue if I sent both the AOS and IV in one package? My AOS has only one page signed I 864 W.

Also can someone please advice me how can I find out if my divorce was final and how can I get a copy of it? It was filed in CA.

Thank you
