thank you saylin

saylin how do i know wen my case has arrived to the nvc and whats the difrence between the nvc and the DOS

For the third time, please read posts 1 and 2!!

Do I really to send in page 9 even if I am filling everything out on my I864?

If you don't want a checklist, send in all 9 pages ;)

Saylin.....Question?

I just received another checklist saying that my AOS is incomplete or missing, and I have sent everything is requested and matched my last year income with the recent one on the line. But, the checklist also is telling me they will schedule an appointment at the embassy in the near future.

My doubt is, are they doing this to see my 2013 Income at the embassy? I have no other explanation.

Can you post the important bit about the checklist? Hard to tell what it's asking/saying otherwise.

(Taken from Saylin's posts 1 and 2 of this forum)

Hey look, someone who reads! star_smile.gifgood.gif

How long does it take for NVC to invoice the IV fee??? They received my AOS fee and it stated paid on 2/24, they received the the AOS packet on 2/25/2014... its been 7 business days... my husband and I are getting really hopeless... utterly hopeless. we are depressed, we are expecting in june. do ya'll think he'll be here before then???? I have no hope in the NVC.

The IV bill doesn't have anything to do with the AOS track. It's based on the DS-261 being accepted and added to the case file. Time to read posts 1 and 2 again.

@Saylin or anyone

When I started my part time job I was single, but I've since married and for 2014 I filled as married. However I just noticed that on my paystub that it says single. Is this gonan be a problem?

It should be fine (Canada isn't a high-fraud country), but I'd suggest getting it changed pronto.

Hi everyone.

I just received an email from NVC which says checklist cover letter and at the bottom it says that they have reviewed ds 260 and waiting for us to send civil docs. IV package was received on Feb 18. Is this what is called a false checklist. AOS has been reviewed and entered in their system.

Yup, sounds like a false checklist to me based on them reviewing (and likely accepting) your DS-260. Call up to confirm!

Saylin please add us to the spreadsheet...thnx

NOA2 approved and shipped from Nebraska on Feb 21. Not yet received by NVC.

Added!

We're on the same boat :( and my husband already filed ITR2013 which he filed single . But he already amend his status from single to MFJ.. The preparer was the one who put MFJ . My husband insist that we need ITIN but the preparer told him that he just only need my signature .. Better to call IRS then :(

Ya, seems like you can just bring the corrected I-864EZ to the interview. Consider yourself lucky and not have to wait another 20ish business days for a checklist to be reviewed.

Awesome, I get to see my wife I believe. I'm heading to the interview with her.

Thanks again....

14 May 2014 : Checklist emails received for all the IV and AOS documents (False Checklist?)

27 May 2014 : Received Checklist: asking 2013 Transcript (one checklist for each parent)

30 May 2014: Called NVC spoke with supervisor. The supervisor could not open the 2013 Transcripts we've sent in our AOS package on April21, because it was downloaded from IRS site. He said it was password protected.

We scanned the transcript and sent it to the supervisor at nvcinquiry@state.gov.

The supervisor was kind enough to wait on the phone and confirm that he has received our email with scanned transcripts attachments.

Supervisor asked another 3 weeks to review our cases.

01 Jun 2014: We sent 2 separate emails (one case # for each parent ) "Response to Checklist" to nvcelectronic@state.gov complete with all the attachments scanned into pdf.

04 Jun 2014 : Case Complete for both parents! ?

Thanks to all VJs members and special thanks to Saylin, Jag and Ripu, Canadianplum and Xprecious32 for your help, support and encouragement. Kind Regards and best wishes for all of you!

25 Jun 2014 : Medical done

22 Jul 2014 : Montreal interview. Approved! ?

09Sep2014 : Entry at Niagara-Buffalo Peace Bridge Officer also requested Green Card and SSN. We have received the Green Cards but we never received SIN. We requested the SIN cards again in November at Local Office and receiver the cards in one week.
