Also: my father is my joint sponsor, but he files as married (together) with my mother. One of my check list items was for I-864A for my mother... all it says is for form I-864a [x] this form must be typed or written in blue/black ink. Does this mean I need to submit an I-864 for her as well?

*EDIT: Thus I had to list her and her income in one of the subsets of the AOS. He makes more than enough for poverty line on his own though.

I got a checklist for the AOS, but I kind of knew I would. When responding for the checklist do I resubmit the whole document or just the modifications they need?

Just want they want, not the entire package.

Haha, I wish. My husband got a new job in North Dakota. What a difference from South Dakota rolleyes.gif

Consider opening your own immigration consultation office.

That'd be against VJ's TOS :P

And I don't have any legal education, so I don't think that'd work :/ Although, it'd be awesome to actually be paid to give immigration advice :)

Bump so my post doesn't get lost. Really confused but I think the e-mail is telling me I need to submit an I-864A for her too, because her and my dad's income is joint... even though he makes enough on his own to sponsor my husband. Just spoke with "Gus" at the NVC. He was very cordial. He said my case arrived at NVC on 28 february. , and to wait 4 or 5 weeks before it will probably be assigned a case number. I'm pretty sure it will be before then. Saylin, cud you please update your spreadsheet? Thanks.

Folks, only one person can add/edit the spreadsheet: me. Stop saying "someone" :P
