hello - same thing happened to me - my husband is currently in england and I put down pakistan as his address. I would suggest, if you can, to just give the interview in Saudi; if that can't be done, go ahead and email NVC with your Pak. address, along with proof of residence and address - I went through this just three months ago and it took them 30 business days, plus minus a couple days I don't exactly remember, take a look at my signature below. So basically if you do change, you'll have to wait a month and half just to have something so minute changed; in my opinion, if you can, just proceed with the case and interview in Saudi, because while they are changing the address, they put your case on hold and you can't do a single thing with it, ie pay the AOS and IV fees, send stuff in, etc. It was a horrible wait for my husband and I, I wish you and your husband the best, and pray we all are reunited in quick times with our spouses.

Thank you so much but I honestly can't go to Saudi and get the process done cus I only go there on a visit visa and i dont knw how thtll go. So i guess we will have to wait :'( ive emailed them today i just hope it doesnt cause a very big delay :( i feel so bad :(

Directly from the peoples I get the information.I also watch the who has interviews daily thats posted and see if they are on my list. I stalk VJ myself, I want and need data so all of you can get the best information possible.

I been doing this thread for over a year and a half. Started by another member. What I been doing is I want case complete date, when you found out (phone or email) your interview date and date of interview.

You know this is one of the biggest questions "How long after case complete do I have to wait". So we decided to track and have a thread.

Anyone can come on over its good fun especially when interviews are announced. Praying fro my Egypt peeps some been waiting since September. Imagine.

So stalk us post say hi. And its great people come back after interview report. It's good fun. :goofy:

You are really awesome!! Thanks for collecting and presenting the data for all of us!!

BOS_LHR has already offered; if you'd like some help getting all your data in a spreadsheet to track I would be glad to help.

Thanks again, and very much obliged! Same to you Saylin!

Saylin's spreadsheet (linked in her sig) has the running average for duration at NVC. Right now it's 51 days from receiving case number to receiving case complete.

It's been stuck at 51 days FOREVER  I want it to go dooooown.

I so need help ya know. I don't know where to start.

If you PM all what you want on the form, I'd happily put it together for ya!

Hehe! Don't we all ^_^ You have so much data on there; does the average take into account all ~700 entries? It would be tough to shift it at all if so. I'd say a yearly average would be great if you don't already have it calculated that way, but I think the 2014 average so far is right in that same vicinity anyway :bonk:

Can I just say how much I absolutely LOVE Todd at the NVC? I was so happy to hear his voice on the line. He recognized my name and was all chatty, and took his time in looking up my case information. He delved into my Dad's missing AOS and as we were speaking on the phone, he told me that they had found the AOS with my Mum's file and it had just been accepted today into my Dad's file. Yippee! He encouraged me to send in all the civil documents. I have a barcode sheet for my Mum but not for my Dad and he said I could create my own cover sheet and the mailroom would print off a barcode sheet, but I think that's a little risky, so I am going to wait until I pay my Dad's IV fee and can fill in the DS-260 and print the barcode sheet off to send both sets of docs in together, as there is only one original marriage certificate etc.

He also said they were catching up at the NVC and processing faster due to being on mandatory overtime working sat and sun for the past 2 weeks.

I told him that I wished I could just have his direct extension lol so that I could ask him questions each time and get an answer from someone who knows what they are talking about.

Hi,

From what I have been tracking; the IV package review is usually the long-pole for case completes. I don't know if they'll actually review your IV docs without DS-260 or vice-versa.

We are looking at CC for people who sent int the IV package around march 12th or 13th. Try getting your data on the saylin's spreadsheet it will help you track it better and help predict when you get your CC.

Thank you for your response. They have been looking at our IV package, because I received two false checklists. I received the first one on 3/17/2014 stating that I need to complete the DS 261 (AOS application form), which was then accepted on 3/20 and added to the case. I then received another checklist on 3/20 stating that I need to pay the 230 Immigration Visa (IV) fee. Which was available to pay on 3/21/2014 and showed as pain on the CEAC website on 3/24/2014, after which the DS 260 became available to complete. We then completed the DS260 form on 3/25/2014, so based on this situation, could you give me an estimate. Since it seems like the IV packet has been accepted already. I called the NVC on 3/28 and the representative told me that everything looks good, and no further checklists, just waiting on the review of the DS260... so any estimates on a case complete for us? is it a possibly we will get a May interview... Any one have any guesses? I am expecting in June, so I am getting anxious about my husband being here for the delivery.

Thank You for your responses to the matter.

I don't think many people are aware of when the civil docs versus the actual IV app are reviewed -- they tend to get lumped together, at least in discussion on VJ -- so it's tough to make an estimate. You can't be far off now though. Since you submitted DS-260 on the 25th, I would guess you'll be done within another week. Two weeks to review everything for IV seems pretty standard, so hopefully next Tuesday is your worst case scenario given they're only looking at the application now. Good luck!

I can just imagine Todd's supervisor: "Hey Todd, what's happening? I'm gonna need you to go ahead and come to work on Saturday and Sunday. So if you could be here around 9 that would be great, mmmk?"
