Ok big mess! When my husband applied for my visa I was in Saudi Arabia to visit my parents so in my current address I wrote tht address and in permanent wrote my Pakistan's address but now the email from nvc says that my address is In Saudi arabia

I just finished talking to a not so polite woman from NVC and she said tht because they have thisa ddress ill have to give my interview in riyadh and if i want to change my address i can only email them and send a proof of residence in Pakistan or something.

Dont they take ages to reply??? Cant i do this over the phone?? :( will this delay my case now?! Aaa im sorry for going crazy :(

hello - same thing happened to me - my husband is currently in england and I put down pakistan as his address. I would suggest, if you can, to just give the interview in Saudi; if that can't be done, go ahead and email NVC with your Pak. address, along with proof of residence and address - I went through this just three months ago and it took them 30 business days, plus minus a couple days I don't exactly remember, take a look at my signature below. So basically if you do change, you'll have to wait a month and half just to have something so minute changed; in my opinion, if you can, just proceed with the case and interview in Saudi, because while they are changing the address, they put your case on hold and you can't do a single thing with it, ie pay the AOS and IV fees, send stuff in, etc. It was a horrible wait for my husband and I, I wish you and your husband the best, and pray we all are reunited in quick times with our spouses.

LOL. I remember I called NVC the day (well it was friday midnight I called monday). Just to ask questions. Even then they were it takes 30 days if in 15 business days it doesn;t arrive give us a call. I would always say okay I will call tomorrow. We always laughed.

Sometimes I would call and soon as I gave name they knew who I was. From May 29, 2012 to March 11, 2013 (when my casefile got shipped off to embassy) I called at the very least 2 times a day everyday. I learned so much.

And Agent Gus thats my homeboy the best worker in government.

Hi,

From what I have been tracking; the IV package review is usually the long-pole for case completes. I don't know if they'll actually review your IV docs without DS-260 or vice-versa.

We are looking at CC for people who sent int the IV package around march 12th or 13th. Try getting your data on the saylin's spreadsheet it will help you track it better and help predict when you get your CC.

Yup, I said it just like that !! and she said YUP.

They did tell me I can call back as often as I like on one of my previous calls... so that is my exact plan. I have a redial button on my work phone so why not ??? I usually get through after only 3 or 4 redials. If you call early, you don't even get a busy signal.

I always say good morning and Thank you have a nice day. They only answer phones.. And we all know they are pretty much scripted on what they are allowed to say... So no need to get angry with them.
