If you provided emails to NVC nothing will come via postal mail. Many change address at Ds-260. That is the address that you need to be firm on because that is the address where the green card will come.

You are the beneficiary there is no need to be updating everywhere. The US address is what that's important to update USCIS and NVC and on DS-260. But DS-260 should have your most current address.

just want to know that i have paid my iv fees and send the iv packet and waiting on DS-260 to appear online to fill out, thing is that my apartment lease is ending on June 31 and i don't know what will be my new address yet , so what should i do now as i am the petitioner . can i just keep the same address we might get case complete before that , and on the POE can my wife gives the new mailing address to get her green card delivered .

please help me on that.

If you have a new address at the interview, tell them then. If you have a new address at POE, tell then then.

Case complete 3/27!!!! Happy happy joy joy!!!! It's nice i called them the day before that and got the std answer... Wait, we haven't opened your correspondence from the 13th.... So i waited... And sure got me a nice kick start to the week :D

Saylin, can you plz update the spreadsheet and thank you soooooo much for all your patient guidance! I'll try to update my timeline asap, it's just so difficult on the phone...

Filled DS261 on Friday morning and its Monday evening, AOS fee still not available. :(

I assume its all automatic process and not manual. Does Saturday, Sunday effect this??

I am preparing to fill out DS-260.

I am filling out the previous visits to US section

My wife had a previous visit to the US in 2005.

Old passport was disposed of when she obtained new one

So we don't have the Visa number they asked for.

As far as I remember, you can leave that part blank (visa number). I moved to the US in 2005 (for 2 years) and had a visa, but no longer had the paper attached to my passport, so I didn't have the visa number either. There was a drop down or something to check that says 'Don't Know'. I had no issues.

Question about I-864:

Page 2 of 9: Part 3: I am only sponsoring my wife. So, do I leave the boxes for other family members blank? or do I have to write "none" in all them boxes?

I've heard about people getting checklists for leaving empy spaces and I'm trying to avoid that.

when the weather is warmer some of us normal VJ ers will hold a "car wash" in the NVC parking lot

and sell Team Saylin tee shirts and all the proceeds will go to you...its the least we can do.....

i just paid the iv visa processing fees last Friday and it still shows in process and i send the iv packet in mail on saturday , just want to know when will be my DS-260 will be appear available online to fill it out......

We have the same situation..my husband paid it on thursday and send documents on friday.. IV fee still in process and DS-260 is not available..i hope it will be today.

USCIS STAGE:

04-05-13- Mailed CR1 petition to USCIS
04-08-13- NOA 1 ( NBC)

04-17-13- Form I-797 received thru mail (official receipt)
11-18-13- transferred to Texas Service Center
12-12-13- NOA2 (at last!), no RFE smile.png

I rich NVC, I spoke with Mr. Waldo, he was more than kind. Our DS 261 is still not accepted, our package is open and on a review, and to wait 30 business day for IV fee to be available for paying... I told him about yellow triangle, but he sad that doesn't meter, just wait, maybe it'll be sooner, but he can't promise :(
