Guys, Saylin, how can i call national visa canter from here, maybe there was explanation somewhere, but i missed that... i know the phone but some other alternative ways. My husband is all day at work, on the phone, so I'm free to do that instead

please if you have an idea it will be great, i can call them all day long because i'm unemployed

thanx

Google is your friend ;) There's lots of ways to call: Skype, Google Voice, Magic Jack, etc.

I have a question. I have read all threads and cannot see an answer

For Singapore and Hong Kong they won't process Police Certificates without requesting document from NVC. However we don't get this checklist until near the end of the process. Can we apply for Police Certificates by using an NOA2

Would appreciate hearing from anybody on this.

You can always try with the NOA2; it's worth a shot. If not, then you'll have to submit the IV package without the PCC, then use the checklist you get to get the PCC.

PLEASE HELP: my case was completed yesterday according to CSR however I receive a checklist today and it was the same checklist I have before number 19 on I-864EZ I have copied exactly whats on my W2 now I dont have idea on what Im doing wrong. They want the beneficiary to bring the corrected one during interview but I dont know how to correct it. Please help...

Don't worry about it too much. They can help you at the interview on what number to use (if you don't figure it out by then).

Saylin please tell me What vaccinations my husband need to take. i want him to take some before medical

Hepatitis A

Hepatitis B

Influenza

Influenza type b (Hib)

Measles

Meningococcal

Mumps

Penumococcal

Pertussis

Polio

Rotavirus

Rubella

Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids

Varicella

i dont know which are vaccine need to take please anyone answer

It all depends on your age. Choose your age here (http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htm), then read very carefully what vaccines will be required.

Got the numbers yay!! :dancing:

Saylin please add me to your spreadsheet.

As another member said, I have a form now to use for requests to be added/updated on the spreadsheet  The link is in my signature below!

Talked to a very nice lady at NVC yesterday (didn't catch her name) and asked about the Ebola situation and the possibility of an expedite. She was very understanding and said it is definitely a cause for concern and could be risky enough to speed up the process. She gave me information to request an expedite, so I sent an email yesterday. Worth a shot, I guess. If it doesn't work, no big deal. I've gotten an email from the US embassy here in Dakar every day since the outbreak concerning safety so they might be on top of things to get us out of here quickly.

Definitely worth a shot! Good luck!

Hi!

We received our case number (form to update the spreadsheet submitted - btw Saylin: nice background!!!).

However we were supposed to change my husband's address over the phone once the case number is assigned, but the NVC lady told us to send a request by email... which I find kinda weird (she had to ask a supervisor). Has anyone changed their address over the phone??

Thanks

I called them to change my (the petitioner's) address and the beneficiary's too, and I got the same response. I sent them an email a few weeks back to change it, but haven't gotten any confirmation. In any case, I put the new address on the DS-260 that I filled out the other day, so that should work in the end.

I am the petitioner (USC). My husband is Senegalese.

The bad thing is that i'm in a group C and i have to submit all the papers through post.

Why?????????? :crying:

Actually, it is not necessarily any worse. Whether you email or mail, it sits at NVC for quite a few days before they actually 'touch' it.

Make sure you write the Case # on the top (right) of every paper you send with the AOS and IV package. For the original papers, put a sticky note with the case #.

I'm getting stuff together for the IV packet. I've heard of side-loading (is this the term?) the IV packet with evidences of relationship. We don't have any red-flags (same ages, first marriage, no criminal record, etc) and we've lived together for about 3 years. Should I put in more evidences? And if I put in more, can it be the same stuff from the I-130 packet?

Thanks! I'm so excited this stuff is moving!

I don't know much about Costa Rica; is it a high-fraud country? If it's not, you're probably safe not sending anything in as you don't seem to have red flags.

If you do include stuff, no, it wouldn't be what you sent in with the I-130 package. They already have that stuff (and will forward it along to the consulate/embassy). You want to send stuff from I-130 submission to now (and anything else you didn't include at the original submission).

It all depends on your age. Choose your age here (http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htm), then read very carefully what vaccines will be required.

Combination Vaccine for:

Tetanus Diphtheria (Td)

Tetanus Diphtheria Pertussis

An initial series of three immunizations, which are normally received in childhood at ages 2, 4 and 6 months and a booster immunization within the last 10 years must be documented.

or

If you have no proof of a primary series you must begin an adult series of TWO doses of Td 4 to 8 weeks apart with a third dose 6 to 12 months after the second. You must be as up-to-date as possible with your series at the time of your immigration medical.

or

You must have proof of a Td booster within the 4 weeks prior to your immigration medical.

or

An antibody titers blood test showing proof of immunity to tetanus and diphtheria.

MMR Combination Vaccine for:

Mumps

Measles

German Measles (Rubella)

If you were born in 1957 or later you must show proof of immunization for mumps, measles and German measles.

or

An antibody titers blood test showing proof of immunity to MMR (mumps/measles/rubella).

or

You must receive an immunization for MMR.

Chickenpox (Varicella) A verbal declaration of chickenpox.

or Proof of immunization against chickenpox. Normally two immunizations 4 to 8 weeks apart or the first of the two within the 4 weeks prior to your immigration medical examination.

or

An antibody titers blood test showing proof of immunity to chickenpox (varicella).

Hepatitis B For ages 18 and under.

Influenza Required for everyone over 6 months of age.

Meningococcal (Menjugate) Required for children age 11 to 18 years.

i found this on his age and his over 18 i think he need to have those vaccines

1.Chickenpox (Varicella)

2.Influenza

Combination Vaccine for:

3.Tetanus Diphtheria (Td)

4.Tetanus Diphtheria Pertussis

MMR Combination Vaccine for:

5.Mumps

6.Measles

7.German Measles (Rubella

please tell me if i am right or worng?

I don't know much about Costa Rica; is it a high-fraud country? If it's not, you're probably safe not sending anything in as you don't seem to have red flags.

If you do include stuff, no, it wouldn't be what you sent in with the I-130 package. They already have that stuff (and will forward it along to the consulate/embassy). You want to send stuff from I-130 submission to now (and anything else you didn't include at the original submission).

I'm 99% sure it's not high fraud, but I might throw in a few more pictures and mail anyways. Just in case. Even if it's not high fraud, it's still Latin America and there's some stigma.

Thanks! :)

Okay so I am currently living in Pakistan and have lived in saudi arabia previously. Now according to the travel.state.gov website i do not need police records for any of the countries. Is it a good idea to send with the civil documents, a print out of where it is written on the website tht it is not required and highlight that statement ? Or should I just let it go. I just wanted to send them a reminder so I dont end up getting a check list ? What do you say experts?
