You start from high school and go up, so for you, you'd have 3 institutions to list.

Another question regarding the institutions, I graduated from a college which is affiliated to a university. All my graduation certificates are from the university, so for the graduation institution, it has to be the college where I studied or the university?

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

Guys, Saylin, how can i call national visa canter from here, maybe there was explanation somewhere, but i missed that... i know the phone but some other alternative ways. My husband is all day at work, on the phone, so I'm free to do that instead

please if you have an idea it will be great, i can call them all day long because i'm unemployed

I'll start by saying I'm so glad that I've been going through this process while people like Saylin have been here to shine a guiding light. Reading the NVC forums (and many others!) for the last several months have been informative, entertaining, and at times I wonder how so much patience and enthusiasm can continue to be demonstrated by those who continue to help others here on VJ. *Applause*

Next, I was hitting MultiQuote for each case complete and new arrival to the NOA2 stage, and I have so many listed!! wow!! So instead, I'll tidy up the space used and just say:

I have a question. I have read all threads and cannot see an answer

For Singapore and Hong Kong they won't process Police Certificates without requesting document from NVC. However we don't get this checklist until near the end of the process. Can we apply for Police Certificates by using an NOA2

Would appreciate hearing from anybody on this.

You should put in the name of the college, its address and the years (from and to). They are not asking you to submit the diploma so it does not matter that the name of the college is not on the diploma. The name of the university is immaterial here.

Same with high school. They only want the name of the high school, address and dates, and not the state or national school board.

Jem, I'm so sorry that happened :( What an awful frustration and unnecessary delay.

It's too much frustration, sadness and anger. I have been facing so much delays from the beginning of this whole process and again an another delay for something so IMMATURE.. They have no problem for leaving my mother's middle name and other sections blank. But I can't leave the Place of residence blank which is same as the Mailing address. They have specifically instructed in that section that only need to fill out "IF DIFFERENT FROM MAILING ADDRESS"... Come on NVC, GROW UP!!

I can't believe they are making you re-send the I-864 to NVC for this!! Especially considering you are following their instructions!

They apparently have a different meaning of "If an item is not applicable or the answer is "none", leave the space blank."

There is no point in reading their instructions. They are totally a waste of time. They have different rules for every single line in that form!!

For mine, I typed in "SAME AS MAILING ADDRESS" in the residence address, hope that's fine ^__^

They told me to put N/A. But don't worry, your's will be fine i hope..

After asking Saylin, I did not leave anything blank.

My wife has no middle name so I put NONE in the blank....its crazy....opposite the instructions.....

I felt like sending about 5 sets of pages with every possible variation.....

That's true, it's better to send pages with every possible variation. It's NVC we are dealing with..

PLEASE HELP: my case was completed yesterday according to CSR however I receive a checklist today and it was the same checklist I have before number 19 on I-864EZ I have copied exactly whats on my W2 now I dont have idea on what Im doing wrong. They want the beneficiary to bring the corrected one during interview but I dont know how to correct it. Please help...

Just got done talking to NVC and I have a CASE COMPLETE :dancing::dancing:

Thank you very much Saylin, NLR, Dwheels and everyone who helped me with this journey.

I bust into tears when he said congratulations you have a case complete

I had to wait close to 6 weeks for iv bill to come and it was painful

once again thanks to god and everyone who has helped me out

Hi everyone I am new here just got approved today and I hope this journey goes by a lot faster than the last ! I appreciate all your help if you have any questions u need to be answered and I know them then I'll help too :) love this website and I'm happy to join this thread! I am so lost in all this after approval stage hope I can make it up after 1 year of not seeing uscis paperwork :wow:
