I'll start by saying I'm so glad that I've been going through this process while people like Saylin have been here to shine a guiding light. Reading the NVC forums (and many others!) for the last several months have been informative, entertaining, and at times I wonder how so much patience and enthusiasm can continue to be demonstrated by those who continue to help others here on VJ. *Applause*

Next, I was hitting MultiQuote for each case complete and new arrival to the NOA2 stage, and I have so many listed!! wow!! So instead, I'll tidy up the space used and just say:

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

I usually research before asking, but i am using the worst internet ever, ill be surprised if this actually gets posted. Its been almost 5 months since i got the i130 approved and NVC has finally got all my documents on the 12 of march... how long do i have to wait until i get checklisted or case complete???

Operators are saying 30 business days to review packages, but it's typically a bit faster than that. Once you get to better internet, you can look at my spreadsheet and check out the recent case complete entries and look at when their packages were sent in (just take note if they got checklists, which delay things).

Got a checklist for my mother's I-864A, Part-1,Item-3, for leaving that space blank. We left that blank because both mailing address and residence address are the same. And also it clearly mentioned inside the bracket of item-3 that i only need to fill out If different from mailing Address. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. We are so unlucky from the beginning of this whole process :(

Dear VJ members, please DO NOT leave anything blank on your forms. Their instructions are totally BS.. I learned my lesson!!

Anyone here know about TNT express courier? I sent my IV package last wednesday morning March 26,and i told the lady that i will used fedex for that package and i thought everything goes well i pay the bills and sign the Air21 form. I am surprise now that my packase still in transit (leige euro) and she put my package in TNT courier honestly this is the first time i heard TNT courier and based on the tracking no.package will deliver on mar31 or it will change the date for delay delivery. OMG i am so stupid not checking the receipt before i leaved that office:(

Just got done talking to NVC and I have a CASE COMPLETE :dancing::dancing:

Thank you very much Saylin, NLR, Dwheels and everyone who helped me with this journey.

I bust into tears when he said congratulations you have a case complete

I had to wait close to 6 weeks for iv bill to come and it was painful

once again thanks to god and everyone who has helped me out

What's been more frustrating to me than waiting for USCIS and NVC timelines? Waiting for our lawyer (paralegal) to send in our stuff. I had everything ready, including a word draft of the DS-260 and still no IV packet in the mail, nor DS-260 submitted online. We paid the fees on 3/14... Very frustrating. The ball's on our court and still I can't do anything (but press them). Sorry for venting...

I can't believe they are making you re-send the I-864 to NVC for this!! Especially considering you are following their instructions!

They apparently have a different meaning of "If an item is not applicable or the answer is "none", leave the space blank."

After asking Saylin, I did not leave anything blank.

My wife has no middle name so I put NONE in the blank....its crazy....opposite the instructions.....
