Just received our case number from NVC, we were I-130 approved on 18th January! Can't believe it took so long. We were at TSC and they took 3 weeks to mail out case to NVC then almost 30 business days to assign a case number. So all those still waiting for their case number from NVC who are in the same time frame as us, hold on your number should be up soon! Good luck to you all.

anyone knows how much time does TSC take to send file to NVC???

Ours took exactly 30 days before they transferred from TSC. Now NVC told us wait two more weeks to be uploaded in their system ?

Currently completing the I-864 and am looking at the employment. I am currently employed, though (long story short) I will be finishing up on the 27th of June. As we will not be reliant on income from this employment for the I-864, should I just tick the 'Unemployed' option and put the date as the 27th of June, even though it is well in advance of that date? Alternatively, should I tick that I am employed and list my role, but exclude my income?

In any case, I think I am going to require an additional page to clarify... :help:

Hi Ryan H..

:ot: but

I am still trying to understand your entry and posts.

When I was new in VJ 4 months ago, I post two topics myself about I-130.

And you moved topics somewhere and I never found my actual topics. :P

It was just funny old memory for me.

If you go back to the forum where you had originally posted, your thread should have still been listed and when you click on it, it'll redirect you to the moved thread. I'm guessing you posted in the wrong forum, so it was moved to an appropriate forum.

Hi saylin i am trying to write case number on passport pics with pencil but it wont work. can i use a pen instead. ThanK

Yup, pen works! Just make sure it doesn't leak through to the other side.

Hmm, I think it'd be better if you listed yourself as employed, fill everything in like normal. Then, just explain in a short paragraph on the cover letter that you'll only be employed until June 27th.

You have a joint sponsor on your case, correct?

Now I knew VJ very well.

But when I was joined back to Nov,2013. I don't have any idea about different forums so I posts everything is one place.

So when Ryan moved my topics, I was like :huh2: lol.

Correct :) Though I was going to provide proof of our assets as well just to be on the safe side. I assume no issues in doubling up? Assets AND a joint sponsor (who comfortably meets the income requirements)?

If you have a joint sponsor (who makes more than enough), then it'd be better if you didn't use assets, as if you don't provide everything necessary, then NVC can issue you a checklist, causing your case to be delayed.
