I just received my case number this morning, when I logged in, I received this message "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

Is this mean that DS261 is not ready yet?

Anybody acknowledge this before.

Well, for email, it's probably not as important, since, you would think, they could just re-print it out. But I wouldn't be surprised that NVC could lose an email :lol:

Both the petitioner and joint sponsor will fill out an I-864.

The form I-864A is typically only for spouses of joint sponsors contributing their income.

Thanks Saylin, that was super fast, some how I mistakenly clicked on report when I was about to respond but am not sure if I was fast enough to stop it lol.....

So the infamous yellow triangle showed up yesterday(was the locked symbol thingy before). Should we have received an email from NVC in regards to the DS-261 and telling us to pay IV fee? From what I've seen most people received email for DS-261 acceptance before yellow triangle appeared. Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

If it allows me to pay it before I receive email from NVC for DS-261 acceptance can I pay it, or do I have to wait for that email??

And Saylin I just wanted to say thanks to you and everyone else on here who has had found the time and patience to help me out. I am the beneficiary and am doing this all on my own, hubby doesn't have the time or the patience. You's have all been like extended family. Nobody understands this process and it feels good to come here at feel at home. You's have kept me sane. I like to see everyone getting case completes, gives me a little happiness inside to see someone else being able to be with their other half, as I know my time is soon. So THANK YOU...to everyone who has helped me.

3/19/2014: My part of AOS sent to joint sponsor from Senegal, awaiting PAID confirmation before joint sponsor sends to NVC

3/21/2014: AOS payment REJECTED. Paid again, payment IN PROCESS. Joint sponsor received AOS package in US

Well, if the IV bill gets invoiced, that's proof in itself that the DS-261 was accepted. No need to wait for anything before paying bills :no:

Just now called NVC and got to know that they have entered the case in system on 26/03/2014. The operator has given me the case number. :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

Operator also told me that they have sent a package too.

Can anyone please update me what all will be included in the package? and also, i know AOS fee becomes available within 5 days after this, how will i get to know that its available, where should i check this?

Welcome to NVC. Once the case # has been assigned the rest of the NVC process happens quickly. Read Ms. Saylin's NVC Guide thoroughly. If you follow it to the letter, it will take care of lot of your questions, and avoid problems with NVC.

Also, change the consulate in your timeline. It shows Armenia now.

Really?!?!? So Saylin can say whatever she wants to say to me and other members can call me names and I am the one that is wrong and will be banned? You all clearly have some issues that you have to deal with. While I appreciate what Saylin and Dwheels do for VJ; it is totally unacceptable to be disrespected and lied on. I am not a butt-kisser and you all clearly have some control issues.

I think when you step on her shoes then you understand her part.. She just shows that she gets tired too. I know that you have a question, but it is your part to do some research as well.. It is not her responsibility to answer all our questions, but she do help a lot.. There's hundred's of us who ask the same question over and over and over and theres only one Saylin.. I hope we try to understand situations.. Just saying..

Finally able to pay IV for wifey and daughter. Best use ever of my tax refund money!

Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting the IV to be invoiced that quickly, so now I have to wait for IV docs to come to me by mid next week. Darn!

Yes...I thought for moment about leaving a crispy Ben Franklin in the packet...you know...expedite fee.... :idea:

Now I am thinking about logistics...Plane tickets..my plan now is to buy a one way ticket over and get

three one way tickets back...I am also thinking of letting my wife go to the local physician to get some

missing immunization shots so she doesnt become a pin cushion during medical....

I gotta do some searching for the list of required shots...believing the Lord for wisdom to make

all the right moves...

That sounds like a lot of coordination. My husband and I are just in limbo here, awaiting the magic words to buy our one way tickets, give away most of our possessions, and take off as soon as possible. Now that all the docs are submitted, the waiting is even worse after so the last two exciting weeks.

3/19/2014: AOS available and paid (IN PROCESS)

3/19/2014: My part of AOS sent to joint sponsor from Senegal, awaiting PAID confirmation before joint sponsor sends to NVC

3/21/2014: AOS payment REJECTED. Paid again, payment IN PROCESS. Joint sponsor received AOS package in US

3/24/2014: AOS Payment went through account. Still in process at NVC.

3/25/2014: AOS PAID. IV Yellow Triangle in the morning. IV email and payment invoiced in the afternoon. IV payment IN PROCESS.

3/26/2014: IV payment taken out of bank account, still in process at NVC. IV packet sent via DHL from Senegal.

3/27/2014: IV shows PAID. DS-260 Submitted. AOS sent to NVC from Oregon.

3/28/2014: AOS and IV delivered (both signed by G.Peters)

4/1/2014: Both packets in the system

4/14/2014: Fake checklist for AOS. IV assumed accepted (will call to verify)

4/15/2014: Case complete (by phone)

4/22/2014: Case complete email

5/1/2014: Interview scheduled (confirmed by phone)

6/25/2014: Interview date!
