Saylin, first let me say thank you. In the immigration world that I became aware of as I started this process,

Your thread, posts and NVC guide is the premium content for all those seeking NVC nirvana.

I dont know who runs the show at VJ but they should be approaching you with a share of the add revenue from

the site to keep you engaged. Also, I always thought you should have a Paypal button so that all of us could

say thanks in a meaningful way.

Aww thanks!

I'm sure the ad revenue is used to keep the servers up and running (and all that other behind-the-scenes stuff) ;)

And I had a Paypal donate button on my blog for a few days, but was told that it's against VJ's TOS, so I had to remove it  Didn't get any donations anyways while it was up :P

Just want to say a huge Thank You to Saylin, dwheels, BOS_LHR, Darnell...and others whose names I've forgotten.

Please don't let a few dumb posts make you think your help and knowledge aren't appreciated because that is most certainly not the case for 99.999% of the people reading these posts and all the great information you've provided.

I think some people get either panicky or lazy and want all the answers handed to them on a plate. They don't realize you have lives too and you're doing this stuff purely out of kindness and willingness to help other folks.

I agree! Big help from you all! I think a lot of people who are new to forums don't look for the -answers- first, as they just want a quick solution. I know me and my wife mainly use this blog to deal with our frustration about the whole process with the delay of the I-130's and answer some questions! (It's excessive how many people duplicate their questions in other threads!, and it's all in the WIKI!)

If I acted like that I think I would be embarrassed! You all do a wonderful job!

Saylin baby girl you know I gots your back and I am your biggest cheerleader. And you are the beacon of cheer and hope.

Goodness I don't even have a play in all this Visa journey business and I am here.

People need to appreciate sacrifice and help when they see it and just thank God. They get there's and move on and we are still here making sure others find their way.

Be grateful people is all I say. Some of us get to that happy ever after and for that you should appreciate what others do to help you get there.

Okay sermon over.

Let me clarify your statement: I never addressed what Saylin does for the members. I know that it can be overwhelming! I appreciate what she does. However, I will NOT tolerate Saylin nor anyone else being disrespectful to me! That is the issue that I currently have with Saylin! No one forced Saylin or any other administrators/moderators to become a part of this community and help us, so please do not take out your frustrations on me or anyone else!

Does anyone know if they inform you of case complete by email? I know I can call but I only have Skype and its a very bad connection

Yes they will send you an email - but it will be a week or so after your case completes. I called last Friday and they informed me over the phone that it was complete - I got the email this morning.

That's wonderful that you read all of the posts on this forum, but I do work full-time and have a toddler that I take care of so EXCUSE ME if I cannot read close to 280 pages worth of posts!!! Patience goes a long way, Saylin. No need to *sigh*!!! This is not the end of the world!

I have no words.....in ALL 280 the pages I have read on the thread, all I have seen is patience way beyond what I could manage. Also, no other complaints like this - if you are not getting the answers you want, then find them elsewhere. We all work together to help each other but at the end of the day, we all have to figure the process out for ourselves and our unique situations. I am insanely grateful for each and every person who has helped me along the way, whether it was answering a question I had, or that someone else asked a question and I benefited from the answers others gave.

If you do not like the way a member is responding to your question, then don't post on the board. No one forced you to ask questions on this thread Please don't take your frustration out on the people who want to help you.

Well, unless you're joining the thread just now, yes, you'd have 280 posts to read. But, IIRC, you've already posted in here...

And I don't know how others see it, but I believe I have a whole heck ton of patience dealing with people in this thread. And due to these people, I'm going to become much less active here within a few days as I've had enough.

And no, it's not the end of the world. Keep that in mind as well if you ever complain about this process, because guess what, that's not the end of the world either.

Nothing but love for you Saylin - you are saint and a billion times more patient than I could be. That goes for dwheels and everyone else who takes the time to share thier knowledge and experience. THANK YOU

Eh? She's not an employee, she's a private citizen donating her time and experience.

No, she is not an employee, but she still represents VJ, a place where she willingly donates her time and experience.

But remember, I'm not the only helpful one on the site. So, even if they did split the revenue, it'd have to go to a lot of people ;) And then there would be issues as to who would get said split. And there would be upset people who didn't get anything who thought they should. Etc etc.

If only though ;)
