NVC received my case on March 25, how long will it take for the case number to be available? Things have been moving faster compared to other people's timelines, should I call nvc after a week from today?

March 19 uscis sent the case and they say it arrived on the 25th.

December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

December 5, 2013 - I-130 approved via email

December 9, 2013 - receive hard copy of NOA2

Many here just wait till the money is debited from the account prior to sending instead of waiting for "PAID" status. This might save you a day or two.

Finally! I called NVC tonight at around 10:00PM this evening and the CSR informed me our case just completed today. HAPPY DANCE :dancing::rofl::dancing::idea:

Thanks Saylin for adding my information to the NVC Processing spreadsheet. I am the petitioner and new to this thread. I just received my Case Number today after i have called NVC. I check the online portal and DS 261 is available with a "start" link. Should i wait for any further communication from NVC or Can i go ahead and fill out the form or have my wife fill out?

At least wait until they draw the money from your bank account.

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

Keep Checking....I believe latter today or tomorrow will be your time....make sure your popup blocker on your browser

is switched off. It needs to open a window to let you print the cover sheet. For me it triggered a pdf download.

Now time to focus on DS-260...I thank The Lord for having a chance to see my family soon :dancing:

Thanks Saylin for adding my information to the NVC Processing spreadsheet. I am the petitioner and new to this thread. I just received my Case Number today after i have called NVC. I check the online portal and DS 261 is available with a "start" link. Should i wait for any further communication from NVC or Can i go ahead and fill out the form or have my wife fill out?

If the DS-261 is available by all means go ahead and submit it. Either you or your wife can fill it in and submit it.
