was able to talk to an operator, 2 IV for 2 cases was accepted, the other 1 an error. operator said i have nothin to worry, i just have to wait for the status to become "error or rejected".

i used google chrome, was able to pay the 3 until we saw only 2 was deducted to husbands account. operator said to use INTERNET EXPLORER instead coz CEAC is designed for it. 2 made it tho.

ill be sending in the documents now anyways.

Congrats!? I hope ours this week or next week. Ugh... Did you have any checklists before? We had. Regarding our AOS. We sent the corrected one last feb 18. Still waiting... :(

The Form I-864 we received was missing the following page(s). Please ensure you include all nine pages when you
resubmit the form.

NVC Special Instructions
This was in regards to my father's (joint sponsor) I-864. I thought I was going to have an arguing point because he only submitted 2010, 11 & 12 tax transcripts....But, Going back through the items he added to the package, I notice that he included his 2013 W2s. ARGH! DAD!!!! I should've caught it, but oh well. So now they see he earned but didn't submit tax returns meaning they think he didn't file. He actual is in the process of filing right now I believe.
If I call up and tell them he is currently filing, will they waive the need for the written letter about why he didn't file? Since he is in fact filing? In which case, they just need the 2013 tax transcript. Also, will they maybe go ahead and say I can have my husband carry it to the interview instead of resubmitting? Or can I try to convince them to let me do that? Otherwise we have to wait for him to finish filing, then for the transcript to be ordered and mailed THEN mail the whole I-864 again. :-(

simply have your father in law resign the I-864 and resend that and ask for a supervisor review to ignore the 2013 w2s. You do not need to resend the whole package. You may want to resend his tax transcripts but those are easy to get online.

You CAN ask for a supervisor review to the I-864 and to ignore the 2013 W2s. But it takes as long to do that as it does to review the AOS again. Your choice.

Government sites are not made for any other browser than IE. To use anything else is taking the risk it may not work properly.

I don't think it needs to be 'notorized', just 'certified'.

Hi! I saw that too when I was searching online. Frankly, none of the websites for these services look very professional, and since I don't have anything else to go by, I am kinda wanting to see what everyone else has done.

I think you are right. A certified translation should do, without notarization.

Thank you! No I didn't received any checklist, thank God for that. My aos package was received on Feb. 4 and completed with no checklist on Feb. 26. I called NVC on Feb 27, and that's how I found out that my aos is reviewed and completed. The iv civil documents package was received on Feb. 11, 1 week after the aos. So I guess the IV package was reviewed today and finally a case complete. The nvc rep said to just wait for the schedule of the interview.

I paid my IV a while ago,i used chrome too,and i used my celphone in paying,I was so excited that I forgot to use IE..Now it says,IN PROCESS..I hope it gets through. Reading your post,made me anxious and worried:(

Hello Saylin,

I have a small doubt.

I am the beneficiary and am filling DS-260 but I am little confused.

In my Birth certificate name of my father is SHAH Jayesh Piyushbhai (SURNAME---Fathers name--Grandfathers name) and in my passport my fathers name is SHAH Jayesh Piyushlal. A minor error in Grandfathers name. Actually both are correct as suffix "LAL" and "BHAI" are used interchangeably in India for males as a gratitude.

I will be filling out DS-260 with the name that appears in Birth Certificate.

I think not all country passports mention fathers name right....? and the true document for fathers name evidence is birth certificate. Right

Is this an issue???

Called NVC guys today.... got to know that they received my case from USCIS on 17th Feb, it has not been entered into the system yet and it will take around 30 business days to issue me a case number.

But from the timelines for all others, can i assume that i will be issued a case number around 14th March??
