Hi Saylin I have a question about AOS. We will be using assets as both our incomes fall under the foreign exclusion amount even though my husband will still be employed by his Canadian company once he moves to the states. He is a commercial pilot and only works a couple blocks a month and will commute. Anyway the question is how much of our assets count? I thought I read somewhere 1/3 is that correct. I have read your threads 1 and 2 and do not see it addressed there. Thanks.

Given the extreme production value of the "on hold" messaging while waiting for an NVC operator

I used Skype recorder and made a 32 min mp3 of it that I "loop" while binge checking just to immerse myself

When you sent in your ENROLL did you get an auto reply? And I noticed you emailed your AOS before you received ENROLL acceptance email from NVC, did you receive a reply from NVC saying your AOS was received/accepted? Just curious because I too am doing the ENROLL and have been told conflicting info as to whether or not AOS and IV can be emailed before receiving ENROLL acceptance.

Ok, this is a long story, but I ll just simplify it. We were guided by NVC operators that we can send the packages (Both packages, different operators) in before our GZO numbers issued (Chinese EP cases are issed with another case number). We asked tonight how long it takes for the GZO number, the answer was no way to tell. For some reason, once again we were told to send the package in while waiting for the GZO number, also with the specific note in the emails.

However, I would not suggest anyone to follow our examples, just because I dont solidly know if this is a special case ( we have got one operator yellng at us no no no but he was not listening to our questions at all) or they made a note or something on our case (we were expedited thru USCIS). I still havent heard any positive response from NVC concerning my AOS package yet. So I cant tell you it is ok to send it in now. I myself am gambling too, but with a little bit confidence because of the help from the operators. By far, I have no way to tell if this pays off or Im betting on the wrong horse. I'd say Make your best judgment based on the specific guidance from NVC.

So as stated earlier, I have a lawyer. He never told me I will need a police clearance certificate for my wife during AOS or IV package. Mine were received on the 12 of march.

I haven't heard back from NVC yet, I have been reading on this thread people sending in PCC with the Packages. Will I get a checklist and my process will be delayed?

CEAC Conformist Egos Alienating Customers

It is truly disheartening after a long hold to reach someone who hates their job.

It's like a cold wind as the spirit and intent of the words spoken is only to do harm.

Thanks for your reply. The hubby and I discussed and we took the gamble and emailed my AOS packet today. When I receive the ENROLL acceptance from NVC I will call to see if they have received the AOS that I emailed today. If the didn't receive it then I will just resend the AOS to them. Just hoping this one squeaks by LOL. We've all waited long enough, no sense making us wait any longer. I thought EP was supposed to speed things up. If it takes them two weeks to accept and send acceptance for ENROLL before emailing packets to them, I could snail mail the AOS package to them in half that time.

Ok, I am confused. All bills paid, all packages sent we are just waiting. However, I never got a confirmation that NVC received our email with AOS and DS260 packages. I called and they said "there is no way to tell if we have received it until we complete the review of it"... I heard that people actually get emails confirming that their packages are received... For people who went EP, how long did it take for your AOS package to be approved? I sent mine on March 10th.

Sent mine on the 6th NVC got it in their system or it showed as received on the 12th.

NVC told me on the phone they got it on the 12th. Them telling you can't tell until it is complete is made up.
