You could try calling them - they may or may not be able to let you know. Personally I would just send another enroll email. But I tend to overkill on documentation so.... Yeah ;) maybe call , see what they say and go from there.

Let me know what they say/how it turns out!

I just called and the nice lady told me that they DO NOT send out auto reply's anymore. The thing that worried me was when I sent the email in the subject line I put: ENROLL__MTL#########. The underscore had me worried. But the lady said it would be fine. So just to make sure I resent it without the _ in it. And as for sending AOS before receiving ENROLL acceptance she said if I did send before, it would get bounced back to me. Oh and she said it could take 30 business days to receive that ENROLL acceptance email. Everytime I call them it gets more and more discouraging. It's a never ending waiting game.

As I was just about to post this....I just got an auto reply email from NVC. I guess the lady was wrong on both counts. Didn't get auto reply the first time because I put ENROLL_MTL######. Did it right this time and got an auto reply which she said they don't do anymore. WOW is all I can say.

No wonder Saylin tells us to call and talk to different people to get the most possible correct answer.

Here it looks like everyone speaks with NVC so easy get them on the line...but we could not after many calls to get connected to talk to anyone there....huh......

I just kept redialing until I got through. It took about 10 tries

Well, let's hope they don't catch it when they review the AOS package again. If they don't definitely bring it to the interview, in case they request it there.

While I don't know for sure, but once the ds261 is filled out you should be in their system in order for them to be able to attach your documents to the right case - especially after paying the bill. Also, if you send your AOS/IV docs before you get the enroll confirmation, she said it would just bounce back. So it's not really going to do anything detrimental and you can just send it again.

I am sure you will get it all sorted and it will work out AOK :)

Getting answers from different people is always good - then you can take in all the info and use what makes the most sense ;). Good thing for VJ!!! No way I would have been able to decipher all these steps without this board and especially Saylin.

Filled out DS-261 on the March 20th and paid AOS on March 21st-still in process. It's been showing "Pending" in my account for 2 days now. I will just wait some more. Thanks for your help.

And most definetly if it wasn't for VJ I'd be a basket case and probably bald LOL.

And congrats on your case complete. I hope mine goes as quickly. Our two year anniversary is May 19th. Was hoping to spend it with him.

IV fee line shows a Yellow Triangle and "Not Paid" status but if we click 'Pay" tab it takes us to next page and can't pay IV as the SELECT column not available.

Is it just us or a common thing?

When is IV invoiced? Do we receive an invoice email?

I think you should get the email tomorrow and also be able to pay the IV invoice.

Is anyone else having issues with the DS 260? I'm trying to fill in my mum's and under the children part, the box for country is greyed out and won't let me fill anything in there. In other news, my mum's aos was accepted but they have launched a supervisor review to see why it's not showing for my dad. I sent them in the same envelope with 2 separate cover sheets/ applications.

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

Oh, Jim is nice!!! I m writing his name down! And congrats to you! I ll be wondering if they will come to my AOS in a day or two, even tho I'm EP... :)

Your NVC timeline matches ours very closely. We are in a tight race :) By the end of this week, I am planning to send our IV document package and complete the DS-260 (when and if it becomes available). Then cross my fingers for no checklist. :)
